The cables are fine. Only complaint is the individual cables are not exactly the same length so the shortest of the cables didn't quite reach. I had to try and stretch it to reach, but then they slip off because they don't stay stretched. I had to squeeze/crip the jacks to make them tighter so they wouldn't slip.
The placement of audio cables aren't good, they are placed on the ends with the three video cable between them , when most devices you use them with have the two audio cable connectors right next to each other. So you wind up stretching over the video cables with one of the audio cables to plug into the audio connector creating tension on the one audio cable.
Wanted this to extend the video from my original Xbox360 (no HDMI) because I was re-positioning the console to accommodate a Kinect camera. I needed to do this because I'm using a projector for my video display. I chose to extend the video rather than the Kinect cables. Bought this cable and some couplers to connect to the existing xbox component video out cables. Works great. No problems.
PROS: 25 foot length Great signal with no problems
I bought this model because the audio cables were thinner than the other models, so they fit more easily in my wire molds that hide my cables. I split off two of the video feeds and kept the third one as the video feed for my VCR.
PROS: Thin audio cables. Cables can be split from each other.
Use this as a direct connection for my Wii to the TV. Flat cable made running where I needed to easy and kept it neat. Would certainly buy another MP cable if needed.
PROS: Flat design (This could be good or bad depending on your application).
CONS: Audio lines are on the outsides, so it goes Right Audio, R,B,G, Left Audio. On most equipment audio lines are next to each other. It is a bit of a stretch on some devices to bring both audio lines together, another 4" or so on both audio lines would have been nice.
