However, working and working properly are two separate things.
If they are so good why aren't they Premium HDMI certified?
I believe, so far, there is only one brand that is: and Apple approved.
Of course, for Apple approved $30 prices.

Depends on the source of the Dolby Vision signal. Yes, it worked for a Sony ultra blu Ray player. But no, it did not work for a 4K Apple TV, causing red flashes on the screen. Only the Belkin cable recommended by Apple works correctly with Apple TV.

Is this better than DisplayPort for monitors with HDR?

Not always, but usually DisplayPort is the way to go, cause of the refresh rate, the HDR Cable (this specific one) has a max refresh rate of 60Hz, whereas the DisplayPort can use whatever your computer/monitor refresh rate is (a lot are 144hz or more).

This is much better than DisplayPort. It supports higher throughput (48Gbps) as well as HDR.
This cable is also future proof for a while yet because of the features it has that are well above the current standard.

Monoprice 8K Ultra High Speed HDMI Cable 6ft - 48Gbps Black

Monoprice 4K Slim Certified Premium High Speed HDMI Cable 6ft - 18Gbps Black
BEST ANSWER: This Ultra 8k cables are capable of HDMI 2.1 standards, including eARC. However, if that doesn't mean anything to you, then you don't need the 8K cable. The 4K cable (as long as it says certified for ARC) will do everything you need, just fine. I believe the Sony 950x doesn't even have eARC capabilities, so definitely go the cheaper 4K cable. You can upgrade to an HDMI 2.1 compliant cable next year (or even later) once more devices begin to support it.

I had initially purchased the Ultra Slim Certified Premium cables for my system but had picture connectivity issues. I switched to the Dynamic View Ultra 8K HDMI cables and no longer have any issues at all and can now enjoy optimum 4K viewing. I highly recommend the Dynamic View Ultra 8K High Speed HDMI cables when running your 4K HDR source components thru an A/V receiver/processor to your TV ARC HDMI input.

Works well with my PS4 Pro and Sony TV.
I bought these to finally be able to use my PS4 to it's fullest potential with my new Sony TV. 4K @ 60Hz with no issues at all, and the colors are vibrant, minimal screen tear in fast games, and overall, the cables are made with the monoprice quality as always.

It works. If it didn't it wouldn't
The good thing about HDMI is that if it didn't work, you'd know immediately..
I previously had a cheap Chinese made HDMI cable that was having trouble transferring 4K data from a Roku Ultra to the TV.
I recently purchased a LG Atmos Soundbar which is connected to a Hisense 75" Dolby Vision enabled TV and has a 2020 Roku Ultra connected to it. The Monoprice 8K HDMI cable pretty much resolved all issues with the cheap cable, passing Dolby Vision and Atmos data without issue.

Solved issues with LG OLED
I was having problems with my previous 2.0 cables and my new LG CX series OLED. Changing screens in Xbox One X games would sometimes drop and restart the instant game response mode, forcing a screen refresh. When I swapped to these cables the problem went away instantly, which makes me suspect the issue was bandwidth. Completely stable now.

Performs as Expected
Works as expected. Using for Sonos Arc sound bar from eARC on TV with Dolby Vision and Atmos pass-thru. Sounds great.

Great cables.
Great cables. With conflicting information in Amazon listings, I wasn't sure I could trust the cables from there to actually be HDMI 2.1. So I bought them here at a reasonable price.
