    Great Product!!! Easy To Use!!!
This is a great product and very easy to use. Once you understand the wiring diagram you can set them up in no time. I used 12 of them to wire my home. I used 6 different colors so I know where each jack goes. The first one took about 10 minutes to set up. Once I knew what I was doing it took about 5 minutes per jack. A small straight slot screwdriver will make it easier to set the wires in place. Also, a pair of wire cutters to trim the excess wire. You wont be disappointed.

    Not a Fan
I tried 5 of these and only one snapped a reliable connection. Went back to the old punch down type form another manufacturer. Unfortunately they do not have the different colors. Oh well that is what differnt colored sharpies are for.

PROS: Variety of colors to make keeping track of lines easier.

CONS: Connection prongs do not line up with wires.

Don't buy save yourself some trouble and use a punch down tool.

    PROS: Cheap

CONS: Termination sucks will not pass test

Once again Monoprice came through for us. We have had a year long project of rewiring all of our radio stations computer networks. The final station was moved up due to issues with the old network and Monoprice had the cable and other items in stock and they were shipped to the station with no problems whatsoever. I can safely say that without Monoprice, this project would have been MUCH longer due to budgetary considerations. As is, we have completed the wiring portion of our project in about 8 months time. This required more than 10 miles of wire in total.

I agree with MIKE H. The jacks were easy to use and very reliable in my installation. I was not used to using the keyless feature. It did take some getting used to finding the right way to insert the little lever tool to snap it closed but once I got the hang of it, they went together quickly.

    Very Easy
Way cheaper than going with the brick and mortal type places.. Easy to use, just follow the wire diagram for either A or B and string them into the cap. Once you have them there you just press the cap into the connector until it clicks, they come with a little leverage tool to make it easy.

Worked first time after testing, no need to redo any of them.

    Will definitely order again.

I found these tool less CAT5e jacks to be very sturdy and of higher quality construction standards than several other "name brand" types I have purchased before.

PROS: All 20 that I had purchased were flawless and of exceptional quality.

CONS: Width negates insertion into 7260 keystone panel. It would be nice if dimensions were listed for items where width might be an issue...an obvious problem with jacks and keystone panels.

So simple, a caveman can do it
Very simple to use. Although they include a clip to help push the lid closed over the cable, I find that, if you're strong enough, you can just use your hands. It doesn't take that much pressure to close it if you're using typical cat5e solid core cable. As I said in the review title..... So simple a caveman can do it.

PROS: Just follow the pictures printed on the part and that's it.

CONS: The cabletie used to secure the cat5 cable to the jack is not very strong. If you pull too hard the cable will break.

Toolless but not terribles for the price
They don't assemble like typical RJ45 jacks, but that's okay. Just be sure to use the included zip-tie for strain relief as they will pull off the end of the cable a little easily
