While it is a nice cable - I learned that you have to be careful about how you want the orientation of the USB end to be. I wanted it to plug into a 5 outlet charging station and when I plugged it in, the orientation of the USB end was in the wrong direction for my need making the cable useless for my application. I’m sure I’ll find another use for it.
My new car has iPlay, but distance is tight from the USB connection to the logical console tray where the iPhone should rest. This short right-angle cable solves the problem. Re-connecting for each drive involves some amount of twisting, so time will tell how durable the cable remains. Since they are pretty reasonably priced, I bought two, so I would have a back-up. So far, so good (3 weeks, 2800 miles in). I’m reserving the fifth star for a follow-up, hopefully.
