BEST ANSWER: This has USB A connectors, the large USB size. Most phones use USB C. Make sure you know what size your USB port is.

This is an extension cable for a USB. I don't know what type Samsung phone cables are, probably not USB. However is is a great quality cable, most likely will NOT fit a phone.

BEST ANSWER: What you're looking for is referred to as a "Transfer Cable" and generally includes a chip built into the cable to make that transfer process between PCs work. Having a USB cable with a gender changer will not accomplish the same task. Monoprice does not currently sell a transfer cable.

Did the trick!
Needed these because my front USB 3 wasn't outputting fast enough speeds (and getting drop outs where my external drives were cutting out) and I had a hub that needed reliable speeds and not cutting out on me, so I ordered this up in order to plug the hub to the back USB 3 ports to get maximum speeds and better reliability.

Picture does not match description, but description is correct.
The cable is as described and works properly.
My complaint is the picture makes the cable appear to have the teal USB 3.x connector instead of the dark blue USB 3.0 connector. If I had known it was merely a poorly lit picture, I would have bought the cheaper "select" grade USB 3.0 cable.
