Just what I needed

Used it to extend a webcamera long enough to be on top of my monitor. This cable extended it long enough to make that happen and it works very well.

Works great to connect an external CDROM to the back of a tower computer.

I needed a little more length on a USB cable as the ones the regularly use are not always long enough, but this works out great!! Just do yourself a favor and wrap a piece of electrical tape around the connection, especially if you are used to pulling on the cable to adjust where you want your keyboard....lol.

This cable has a solid-feeling braided outer cover, making it quite sturdy and tough enough for field work.

The connectors are pretty standard (I mean, if they meet design specifications, what more can you do to them?) and they engage firmly with the mating connectors and are properly retained, so they do not fall out of the mating connectors.

Because the outer braid is tightly woven, the cable does not twist excessively, so they should not become damaged during handling, installation or use.

The electrical data transmission characteristics are good, and I was able to get full speed data transmission during my tests.

The power wires seem to be above average, and I noted higher charging current when using these cables as compared to several other USB extension cables, including some more expensive cables. (As a general rule, I have noted that USB 3 cables appear to allow higher charging currents than do USB 2.0 cables.)

This review applies to the 1.5 and the 3.0 foot USB 3.0 extension cables.
