BEST ANSWER: it works on my 15" touchbar mbp but both external monitors are displaying the same thing. (different than the laptop screen once i turned off mirroring) so it's not working like I wanted to (as 2 separate external monitors)

Newer Apple machines support MST which allows you to view 2 monitors independently (not mirrored).

BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question.
You would probably not need any drivers but if you have any problems we would recommend using Display Link drivers.

BEST ANSWER: From the quick testing I did with recent MBP, all you have to do is plug it in and connect the monitors and they will automatically extend. If they don’t, you can change the settings withi the Settings—>Display section.

I have a Lenovo P1 with Thunderbolt ports. I'm plugging two 1080p monitors to the thunderbolt port with this adapter. It works when I plug it in while the computer is active but my monitors do not wake after sleep or restarting. I did try tweaking the power settings for link state management and all the usb devices in device manager (turned off allow the computer to turn off device to save power). Is this normal behavior for this adapter? What could be causing my monitors not to wake from sleep/restart?

If I use this product to connect two monitors to a laptop running Windows 10, can I use Windows display settings to extend the display between both monitors, so that my cursor moves from one screen to the other? I don't want to have two identical screens.

BEST ANSWER: It works like that on the HP laptop I use. You might have to adjust the display settings to extend the screen and not duplicate it.

USB-C to Dual HDMI Hub
I used this device on a Dell Precision Laptop to attach 2 monitors with HDMI cables. Connected hub to Thunderbolt 3 port on laptop. This allowed me to connect 4 monitors to the laptop. Worked immediately. No problems at all. Performance of displays on monitors is great.

Horrible compatibility with a MacBook Pro 2019
This adapter does not work at all with a MacBook Pro 2019. Firstly, you can't connect two monitors in an extend mode. It only does mirror. Secondly, it's not possible to only use one HDMI cable. In fact, I'm not even sure this adapter is working anymore, can't be bothered to check. Stay away from this adapter and buy a dock from Apple instead.

Dual monitors
I am using this adapter with a dell laptop using the USB-C/mini DP port and it's powering two monitors at full HD! Works great and I'm getting full signal including audio to my monitor as I run my sound system via the monitor audio output jack.

Perfect solution for USB-C devices
This works great with my Surface Book and my Pixelbook. I have one monitor running at 1920x1080x60hz and one at 2560x1440x165hz along with the laptop's own 4K display without any problems. I use it so I can run 3 screens total in extended mode. I haven't had any issues with it, it was perfectly plug and play.

Did not support extended video as advertised.
When I hooked this up on my mac and added my two 24" monitors, the only configuration that would work was a single 24" extended and the other one mirrored. It did not result in three independent monitors like I had intended. Guess I will have to put up with my Displaylink based docking station for now . . . if they ever fix the driver for the new version of OSX.
