I bought the 110" 4K screen this one. However, I'm pretty sure I can say it is not acoustically transparent ( which it would state in specs if it was). I say this as during my research other 4Ks I considered were not acoustically transparent because the holes needed would impact the 4K visual (distortion etc.) results due to the extremely small pixels vs holes. I will say I'm extremely satisfied and impressed with my 110 Fixed 4k screen. It replaced a 96" DYI which had IMAX screen material. I have my new SONY on the older screen for a month or so as I brainstormed. I was impressed after upgrading the projector form an older DWIN DLP, Then much more impressed with the upgraded screen improvements. Great picture even if I don't take actions to really darken the room as I typically did with black vertical blinds at the open wall to kitchen area.
I doubt it. It would be major surgery to attempt this and I doubt the reel could hold much more fabric. Lastly, it is shaped specifically to tension the screen via the cords on each side, so if you mess with the length, it will likely mess up the tensioning...I would have liked a longer black area as well because I have 9.5' ceiling, but settled for this.
Hi, I have exact 149" ceiling space. Can 150" (Product # 30453) projector screen with case length 148.7" be installed in that space? Is it possible to trim the side flange little to help with installation.
