You state the dimensions for the base are 35.83" x 26.8, how ever you do not call out which measurement is depth and which measurement is width. Which is which?

The longer dimension is the width, the shorter is the depth.

What are the height ranges for the mount? In other words what's the height of the mount when cranked all the way down and all the way up. I don't care about the top shelf height, since I assume that is optional anyway.

Ignoring the shelf and its corresponding upright sheet metal bracket completely, I measure as follows: In the max extended condition, top of mast measures right at 65" above floor. In fully retracted (down) position, top of mast measures 47.5" above floor. Exactly where your TV will sit relative to these measurements will depend on your TV. On our TV, a TCL 50" unit, the top edge of the TV is approximately 14" above the top of the aforementioned mast. Your mileage may vary.

It's very versatile. Rather than not answer because I didn't measure, I'll tell you it's a very wide range. Low is really low, and high is too high to get it through any doorway. I don't think most users would have any issue with this feature.

Are the casters removable?
Melissa V
on Oct 27, 2018
BEST ANSWER: The casters have a threaded post, so technically they can be removed with a wrench. But I don't know why you would want to do that, unless you are concerned with security. You could buy an $800 Premier Mounts stand without wheels, but that price tag is exactly why I'm happy with these units.
Since the wheels come pre-installed, I haven't removed them myself. Also important to note is that there are two heavy duty "L" brackets that connect the Left and right wheeled sections, to a piece of steel that's about the size of an 8" long 2"x4". If you remove the wheels, then I believe that the brackets will bottom out before the the sections where the wheels used to be are. It's only about a 1/4" or 1/8" piece of steel, but now you've turned a sturdy TV stand into something that will rock back and forth

We are interested in a cart similar to this 30361 that can support a 75IN Panel that weighs 135lbs and possibly a cart that can support an 86IN Panel that weighs 185lbs. Do you carry something that is adjustable height that supports these sizes and weight? If not, do you plan to have something soon?

I have a cart model 30361. We have a 72inch screen on it. This is a very nice cart. It is well made. The crank is very helpful. Our monitor weight about 100lb but I feel like this cart could handle much more than that. The one item that I thought we would never use is being able to turn the screen 90 degrees. We use that ALL the time. it makes the cart much easier to move room to room and to store. I have had other friends buy the same unit and they are very happy also. I would think you would be safe using this for the size screen you have.
Good Luck!

It would not work for my particular Vizio 32” TV because the mounting pattern just didn’t line up. But I put a 40” on it and it was perfect.

Just bought this unit and like the sturdiness and the overall quality. However, my display seems to tilt toward the one side a bit. Is there a way to tighten this up to keep it level?
Ronald C R
on Aug 23, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes, there is some play on the mount that allow you to tweak the angle of display to get a perfect position,
I used a level to help get display angle the way I like no problems.

is there a way to tighten that up? It is constantly crooked and when I make it level it immediately goes back to a slight tilt.

Check your connections; use spacers if needed for your tv to get flush fit with mounting bracket
The screws that allow you to switch from portrait to landscape modes actually give you a little play, they are not strict, do that I was abke to use a level and then retighten the portrait/landscape adjustment screws to maintain a perfect level allignment, vertically and horizontally;
Had similar issues with mine, that worked for me. Good tv stand

Apparently, the casters are removable (read : HAVING BEEN INSTALLED OR NOT DURING ASSEMBLY, they can be either not installed or removed later). Based on how the casters are installed/linked to the base (maybe some kind of pin/jack-click-in-like system?), can I safely presume that I can REPLACE them with larger (3 or 4 inches diam. for instance) casters?

Good Value
Love it! Using it for a large piece of therapy equipment. Holds fast, stable, easy to change height, not worried about the kiddies pulling it down on themselves.
Yeah, the keyboard tray is touch wobbly, but more than sturdy enough fro the keyboard.

Fantastic Value
This is a great stand for the money. It looks good, somewhat upscale. It's very heavy and well constructed. Shelves are sturdy. It's easy to assemble taking about 20-30 minutes.
There are two minor minuses. The crank up handle doesn't attach to the stand. It's kind of like a fancy wrench. You stick it in a square hole, crank, and then put it away somewhere. Would be nice to have a plastic holder for it on the stand, or better yet have it mount in the hole permanently.
The other issue is that the webcam shelf blocks the TV from being lowered to the bottom of the height range. This depends on your TV size but I think most TV's will suffer from it. You can cut off part of the bracket to fix but who wants to chop up a brand new stand?

Fantastic HDTV rolling monitor stand. You'll love getting cranky!
This monitor stand is really well built! I put it together in about 30 minutes; maybe a little less. I have a 40" monitor mounted on it in my home office livestreaming video studio and use the setup for an over the shoulder on-set monitor. I feed graphics to it from PowerPoint. I LOVE the CRANK on the back of the support column, which lets me quickly adjust the height for use when I'm standing or sitting. I decided not to install the lower and upper shelves that come with the unit because I don't need them, so that cut some assembly time I'm sure.

Very capable stand
I'm using this with a 70" screen which is pretty large and heavy. The Monoprice stand handles it solidly and gracefully. It's extremely well designed and well built. The assembly instructions were very helpful and clear. It went together fairly easily. Movement and adjustments are smooth and firm. I've been rolling it all around the building with the screen - including multiple trips in the elevator. Definitely recommended.

Would not feel comfortable mounting a 70" on this.
We bought this because we use 70" displays in our conference rooms, and when mounted on wheeled carts, the TV's are too tall to fit through our doorways. I had high hopes for this unit, but am sending it back.
For starters, it's not a very substantial unit. It wobbles and I would be reluctant to put 100 lbs of weight on it (our 70" TV's weight 80-90lbs). Also, 65" is the top of the TV bracket, so it doesn't get tall enough to use in a conference room. In fact, I'm not sure what the point of the crank is.
This concept it a product I very much need, and if this was just a bit more substantial and cranked up to about 72", it would be ideal.
