You can position the speakers into nearly any orientation you want as there are adjustment screws at multiple locations & parts of the brackets. Just plan it correctly. These are not the brackets you would want for adjustment after install. You adjust them during install and keep them in that orientation if that makes sense. I've used these in two separate personal installs for rear speakers and have been really pleased with their value.

No, they cannot rotate in four directions. However, you can mount vertically if you want up/down movement or horizontally if you want left/right movement.

Yes. They have a part that articulates like an elbow. And also a piece that you can rotate where the 2 halves fit together.

Will this work for my Klipsch R-14s speakers?
New User U
on Dec 28, 2018
BEST ANSWER: In theory, it should work, but your Klipsch R-14s are pushing the weight limit for this product (8+ lbs vs. 10 lbs.) For just a little more money, you can upgrade to Product # 6839, which has a 33 lb capacity... then be sure to lag them into a stud or post, or board that spans across a couple studs. The other consideration might be mounting to the back of the speaker, slightly to one side, because those speakers have the connections in the middle, and you want to retain easy access to the speaker wires. Good luck.

Can I use these mounts to hang my speakers from the ceiling?
Allende H
on Dec 13, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Yes. I drilled holes in my indoor bookshelf speakers that weigh about 9 pounds each and have them hanging from the ceiling on my patio using the provided drywall anchors. As others have posted though, do not use the drill bit size that the manual says to use, it will be too big for the anchors to seat well. Start with a smaller one and work your way up.

I'm looking for a mount to mount some SVS Prime Elevations on my WALL but I am going to be pointing them DOWN as much as possible. The website says if I use the extention on wall mounting, it can't support as much weight. However with what I have in mind, the speaker is going to be down so much the bottom back of the speaker will rest on the wall. Do you think these could handle that? The Prime Elevations weight about 7.8 lbs.

BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question.
Those speakers would likely be too much for the bracket when installed into a wall.
You would want to stick with speakers that are around 6 or less pound if you wanted to use the extension on the wall.

I have 3 questions. I have a set of Infinity Primus bookshelf speakers (7.2 lbs.) Will these fit my speakers? And how far do the brackets stick out from the wall once installed? I am wanting to use them as a side mount on my entertainment center. Will they swivel completely around after installed to face me (as the tv does)? Thank you.

BEST ANSWER: They should fit. I have Polk Audio speakers which have a center bolt to fasten to the mount. Don’t think they swivel. I have two front speakers that are placed straight. They stick out from the wall a few inches but I took out the center piece of the mount so they stick out less. I have two speakers on the sides but I angled them slightly. I had to position them first then tighten them up. Hopefully this helps you.

Do these include M6 screws?

I'm using these to mount a pair of speakers to the ceiling. The instructions all indicate attaching to the back of the speakers. Is there any reason why I shouldn't instead put screws into the top of my speakers to attach them to these mounts? Thank you!

Can I use these to mount speakers in an Atmos setup? I'd like to invert the brackets and adjust my speakers to an angle pointed at the ceiling. I'd need to create a base so they don't fall over. Plus build a shelf with a lip for them to sit on so they don't slide off. I My Pyle 4" bookshelf speakers have no mounting holes. It would be nice to have something like that available pre-built. What are the diamond shaped base and speaker mount dimensions? Thanks

Great speaker bracket very versatile and tuff to hand most satellite speakers.
These brackets work great I use them in all my home theater installation jobs and not once have I found an issue. I like the plastic so if I need to alter anything sheet rock screws works perfectly to keep in place for example.

Great way to mount a cube or small speaker
If you are looking for a versatile way to mount small speakers, this is the way. We did an open ceiling set up in a very lively room where everything was exposed. These mounts allow precise directional control, match the color of the speakers, and are aesthetically pleasing. Not our first time and very pleased.

Really terrible
My 6 pound speakers caused the plastic of the mount to deform and come off. Fortunately they weren't on the wall yet and I was just trying them out in my hand.
Monoprice stuff is usually great, but these are worthless junk.

Cheap and not sturdy.
Cheaply made. Did not hold up well at all, especially if trying to mount on an overhead or wall. Needed to purchase an alternative mount and this was essentially useless.
Also the M6 mounting bolt that came with the package was not standard threading. Had to go to Home Depot to purchase another M6 bolt to fit my speaker threading.

One of the poorest designed products I've ever purchased
First off, the really amazing thing is, none of the supplied screws fit into the mounting hole on their own brand satellite speakers! And I can't find ones that do. They're not M6, and they're not 1/4" Secondly, tightening the Allen screws does nothing to secure the arms. the posts are flimsy plastic. Even with their lightweight satellites, that only was a coupe of pounds, and no extension, the arms sag. REALLY poor
