works exactly as designed and described. It came with all of the mounting bolts. The holes lined up perfectly with my computer monitor. The adjusting knob to adjust the tilt up and down may be difficult to reach since it is behind the center of the bracket that attaches to the monitor. It worked for me because I needed a bracket that was slim and compact to save some space. I adjusted the tilt once and left it alone. The swivel left and right is very smooth and easily glides. Perfect for my needs.
I have this on a 19" TV. and holds good enough it does tip left and right out of level that's is kinda annoying. Mounting was a bit tricky as there is not a lot of room to get the screws in and tight. overall though it is real steel and it fit my TV and my Pocketbook.
PROS: An excellent choice for a full motion TV wall bracket for TVs 26-inch and smaller specially when to be mounted on a location about 4-6 feet away from the viewer. Although its full motion range is not that wide, about 5 - 45 degree angle depending on the wall where the bracket is to be attached to, the product is very handy and functional. Also consider the weight of the TV to be attached as indicated on the product label. Very cheap ($3.67 from $4.95), very sturdy and probably would last a lifetime. Arrived on time, 3 days after purchased, as promised, on its original sturdy box but the post office box it was packaged into (apparently that cost me $7.39 shipping) was all worn-out, dirty and almost coming apart with only the label intact.. Over-all, experience with Monoprice is strongly positive and highly recommendable.
CONS: Post office packaging which cost me $7.39 shipping and handling (much much more expensive than the product) is totally unacceptable..
This is a great mount for the price. I am using it in conjunction with worm-drive hose clamps to mount a 24" TV to the leg of an EZ Up tent. For this application, I don't need anything fancy - just the basics.
This mount is perfect for me. My one complaint is that the knob to loosen the plate for adjustment is difficult to reach with the TV attached.
Any money you might save on this will be lost in the installation. I've installed 4 TV/monitor hangers in my life, and this is without a doubt the worst design. It is utter garbage.
PROS: can't think of one.
CONS: nearly impossible to install. Other hangers allow you to install the entire hanger and then hang the monitor on it. This ridiculous design asks you to assemble it behind the monitor. Don't be lured by the price. Buy a better one.
All in all this is undeniably a smoking deal. It sticks out from the wall a bit but that's necessary so you can swivel it back and forth. The included drywall anchors are garbage. When installed to spec they will spin in the wall when you try to drive the screws in. I used some quality aftermarket units which worked way better. Fitment to the 19" LCD I mounted was great but the carriage bolt used in the tilt assembly has a bit of slop in it so when you swivel the screen it has a tendency to rotate a little bit, making the screen unlevel. Not a huge gripe, but an annoyance when you pivot it often.
PROS: Inexpensive, decent build quality, tilt and swivel.
CONS: Drywall anchors are a joke, doesn't stay very level.
