I used this cable for a 7 speaker setup. It was easy to run the lengths that I needed. The larger spool meant I didnt have to worry about running short. The price was good compared to similar stuff on Amazon. Just be careful when removing the insulation, as it is somewhat easy to nick or cut the copper strands. Overall good product and will use it again.
PROS: Inexpensive, high-quality audio cable. Nice large spool for 5+ speaker setups over short to longer runs. Easy to use. Easy to hide/paint over (if needed). Another fine product from Monoprice.
CONS: When stripping the outer insulation off, it is easy to nick the copper strands and cut a few. Take care when removing and you should be fine.
I have worked for companies like Circuit City, and RC Willey in setting up home theater system for a long time. I have seen all sorts of claims as to why some cables are better than other. Let's get down to business. This 16AWG wire is just as good as any you are going to pay up to 10x for. I mean that. This is good wire. What more can you say about Copper Speaker Wire?
PROS: Adequate flexibility for fishing through walls, and floors.
CONS: Would like a easier method for determining polarity, but the writing is on only one side of the wire pair, use that as your marker.

No issues with this wire whatsoever. Other reviews said the blue strip on the insulation was hard to see. I did not have this problem at all. You can not beat the price of this wire in a store. I compared prices at Radio Shack, Best Buy, Home Depot, Frys, and other local electronic stores before ordering from Monoprice.
PROS: Price. Could get a large spool of wire instead of buying in 25' or 50' lengths.
