Definitely it is an OTG cable adapter. This should be enmphasized in the title a d tbe description of the cable-adapter.

OTG = "On the Go" - I've used it connect portable hard drives, iPhone, iPod and camera to my MacBook Pro.

USB Type-C to USB Type-A Female 3.1 Gen 1 Extension Cable
I used this cable to extend the USB C port in the center console of my 2022 Ford Bronco. It works perfectly and was worth the purchase price. I would recommend this cable to others.

It does what it says on the tin
This works as expected, in hindsight a longer one would have made sense but I didn't quite have the use cases worked out.

Works for charging legacy devices
I recently got Leviton USB C outlets installed in the house. The family still has a few legacy devices that either use Micro-USB or a proprietary connector. These adapters allow us to plug them in and charge without issue. USB-IF certification is a plus.
