Will this work for new iPad pro released november 7, 2018?

BEST ANSWER: I don't know if this cable will work, but the new iPad Pros that were released in November 2018 do use a USB C cable for charging and data transfer. I do not know if it is a standard USB C you know how Apple can make things difficult so you have to buy cables from them. Would like Monoprice to answer this question to assure these cables will work with the new iPads. Thanks

USB Type C is a standard multivendor connector. Apple does not use it on the iPad; it uses the proprietary Lightning connector.

Yes, if it says 3A (amps), which these seem to in the name (but check), then it should do it. You can filter by 3A cables when you search.

Better than expected.
Received quickly from Monoprice. Plugged and worked! This is not a light weight cable definitely has substance to it which is what I wanted. Some ORM cables are so lightweight and flimsy that they do not last. I expect this one to outlive my electronic device. I uses to charge the battery almost daily.

A new hard drive included a USB adapter and the combo did not work. The new cables work perfectly. I'm actually buying 3 more.

Perfect for my application
This Monoprice Essentials USB Type-C to USB Type-A 2.0 Cable is perfect for my need to connect my phone to my Android Auto radio. Every other cord I tried was too long which led to the cord to move around and eventually cause a loose connection.
