    BEST ANSWER: Audio and video is always a weakest link situation. As long as your 4K rated HDMI cables are less than the maximum for the run, you'll be fine with these.

    I used the coupler to extend HDMI cables 25FT and it works with no problems.

    PROS: Works great for extending HDMI Cables.

    perfect fit
    I could do this all day. If you buy these inexpensive componants, you really should not expect much. However, when they come from Monoprice, they are extremely high quality! They connect tightly on both sides. Where I used one to connect (2) 25' in wall cables, there is absolutely no signal loss to prevent me from getting 1080p at a distant tv. I couldnt be happier and neither will you.

    A simple product which does its job as expected
    I hooked two in series over a 30 foot run of cable and was able to display 1080p without noise or picture distortion. They are good.

    PROS: -works over long runs on HDMI cable

    Needed to connect my Chromecast to a longer HDMI cable to improve wifi signal. Since most cables are male-male and the Chromecast is also male, this fixed my issue. Has worked well for the 2 weeks I've had it.

    works like a charm!
    Works like a charm for connecting my Nvidia GTX460 video card to a LCD TV by joining a mini-HDMI to HDMI adapter male end to a 15' HDMI extension cable. Passes sound and video perfectly.

    PROS: Small form factor.
    Cheap!
    Does what it's supposed to.

    CONS: None.
