Can this stand support dual monitor arms with 27 inch monitors? Can is fit a bracket that clamps to the back of the stand?
Scott F
on Nov 3, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Hi, this product can support dual monitor arms and 27" monitors but you'll be close to the limit so please check that your specific combination of products will be within the 33 lb recommended weight. A clamping bracket would work, or you can drill a through hole for mounts that can be mounted that way. Thanks for checking.

I have (2) 23" monitors sitting on the desk itself...(2) 27" might be a bit much, although I believe they make a slightly larger model that will accommodate. As far as mounting brackets, clamps & arms... that's a question for the manufacturer

We are using it with a similar setup but we are using it with 21" monitors but if they are not really heavy I would image you could. The clamp in the back is not a problem for this stand.

Yes. I have this exact setup. The clamp fits just fine in the center of the back of the desktop and the desk will travel to its bottom position just fine.

I have a 27" iMac and another monitor right next to it and it supports it just fine. I'm not sure how big your bracket is but I would imagine it could.

Are the surfaces made of wood, plastic or a composite?
Scott F
on Nov 3, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I believe the surface is a core of chip board composite covered in a hard plastic sheath. It’s exactly like the other brand we’ve purchased before that is twice the cost. It is not flimsy at all. Very sturdy and doesn’t wiggle when typing with the desk raised. I highly recommend it. It’s honestly better than I expected.

How loud is the motor?
briandot
on Jan 6, 2018
BEST ANSWER: It's hard to say. It's not very loud at all. If you're in an office, people in surrounding cubicles will hear it slightly, not enough to disturb them on the phone. If you're in an office with a closed door, no one outside will hear it. It's not loud enough to disturb you if you raise or lower the desk while you're on the phone. Hope that makes sense and helps.

Is the keyboard tray capable of dropping below the level of the desk this station is sitting on? E.g. my desk has a keyboard tray under the desk surface, which is just the right height for the keyboard and mouse.

on Dec 8, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Hi, this product was designed to have the keyboard tray sit on top of the desk at the lowest setting, unfortunately the keyboard tray won't be able to drop below the level of the surface the product is sitting on. You might need to consider adjusting the table height if it can be moved lower, or possibly your seat height and consider using a footrest. Thanks for checking.

Is there an option to adjust the height manually if you need to move it silently or if there is no power?
John A
on Jan 26, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Hi, the electric motor stays engaged and will prevent movement if there is no power, same as when the up/down switch is not being used. This ensures product stability and safety at all times. If power is unreliable in your area, plugging into an Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) would work. The electric motor sound is not loud and is similar to a car's power window, probably quieter. In our testing lab with around 50db ambient noise, using this product didn't increase the noise level reading meaning the motor wasn't louder than ambient white noise. For reference, typical office ambient noise is around 60db so the electric motor won't be louder than centralized air conditioning or computer hum. Hope this helps.

Good size and height
Good size for 27" monitor. When in the down position, the monitor height (Mac Studio Display) is a good place for viewing.
The motor raises and lowers at a moderate speed. It's a little slower than manual units that are similar but it's totally acceptable. The keyboard tray is large enough for a full keyboard with numeric keypad and a mouse and there is still room on both sides.

This converter is large, heavy-duty and very sturdy. It is well-built, electronic and HEAVY. Once in place, it will not shift. I am VERY happy with this adjustable workstation converter. Highly recommended!!!!

Well Made but Large - Check Your Space
Functionally I like the sit/stand desk, but it is really big. Be sure to check the measurements to figure out if you'll be happy. I was putting it on top of a traditional kneehole desk. The width was not a problem, but front to back it filled the entire desk top. The keyboard shelf is pretty wide and I couldn't find a comfortable way to write notes - there was no room front to back and I had to be very far off to the side so it wasn't comfortable. I did not return it, but did consider doing so. I may use it later but I moved it off my desk after using it ~3 weeks.
Functionally it does what it is supposed to do. It is well made, seems durable, the finish was good, and the electric motor worked well. It if fits your space I would recommend it. To me it would be better used on a dedicated table type of desk rather than a traditional kneehole desk with drawers on either side.

Good desk converter, perfect for working while standing or sitting.
It is a very good stand up desk converter. The work area is large, and I use it with a dual monitor stand clamped to it. It raises and lowers smoothly, though not quietly enough to do it while on a call. Aftet about a week, I have noticed that the rear rises a fraction earlier than the front., and sets down with a little bump. It takes about 14 seconds to rise and about 12 seconds to lower back. One nitpick, the buttons to raise and lower the desk are side by side, would have been more intuitive if they were placed vertically, top button to raise and bottom button to lower the desk. It has one USB port, a couple of them would have been nice to help charge phones and wireless devices.

Good construction, design and price.
This has been working well for the first few weeks of use. Assembly was quick- it came almost entirely ready to go in the box. It is very sturdy and easy to use. Even with dual monitor arms and dual monitors, the base stays very planted and stable. If the need arises for another one of these in our offices, I will get this again, especially due to the extremely competitive price compared to other similar products from other companies.
