The cable works perfectly, and as usual for Monoprice the build quality is top notch. The connectors fit nice and snugly at both ends. As others have observed, this cable is extremely stiff, making it tough to route, especially through even moderately tight curves. Luckily my installation doesn't include any sharp right angle (or worse) turns.
I guess it works great for everyone else, just not for me. I was trying to plug this in the back of an A/V equipment and it A) connected too tight. I had to give it a lot of force to come out and the cable broke apart B) it was too wide to fit next to each other.
PROS: Virtually unbreakable, could be used as a table leg.
CONS: Feels like a solid piece of 12 gauge copper embedded in .25" of high-density foam insulation with a kevlar/steel mesh jacket. This stuff is so stiff it can be used as a pry bar to snap the RCA jacks off your gear, if you're not careful. I have several unopened cables you can have, if you're interested in connecting your components with a rebar-like material...
Sadly, this cable did not fit on my TV or receiver. The connectors are too thick, they crowded each other on all of my components and I couldn't get a snug connection. Get the standard ones, much better.
Bought 6 feet so it had enough length to bend around from my TV to my receiver. The connectors were pretty tight and have a solid hold on the RCA connections. The cables look very classy and are well built, definitely worth 5x what they charge.
PROS: Quality cable with some nice heft to it. Connectors are solid and well built. Should cost 5x its price.
CONS: None if you buy the right size due to a tighter cable.
