Wrong item received. So can't say much about the item. Customer service was easy enough to get a refund from though. So all in all disappointed but adequately reimbursed.

It fits perfectly to my projector port and interfaces perfectly with my laptop. It saved me from having to by a new projector and the part cost was minimal. I'm very pleased with the purchase.

When used with Wecast E8, it turns the (very old) InFocus LP350 into the wireless mode, thus extending the life and expanding the functionality (wireless) of the LP350. At this price ($3.19), Monoprice is to be commended for value/pricing policy. Strongly recommended. Alternative is the HDMI to M1-D(P&D) cable for wired connection.

I needed this to connect hdmi devices to my Infocus LP600 projector. This adapter made hooking up of hdmi devices breezy but had some trouble initially due to the "analog" input signal required by this old model projector. Once I figured to set my hdmi device to output analog signal, no issues,the projector suddenly became very usable. Very inexpensive fix o extend the life of an old projector. Thanks for the great product.
