Yes...they work great and are easy to connect. If you have both balanced and unbalanced connections make sure if there is a switch that designates which connection you’re using that you pick the correct one. With these, you’ll need to select unbalanced...again only if you have to designate on an external amp or AV processor.

It would work OK for audio, but you might find pairs or bundles of cables so you don't have to run a bunch of single wires.

What I should the difference between these and the Monoprice Premium RCA Cables?
A shopper
on Mar 16, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The biggest difference is that this a coaxial cable (basically a cable or satellite cable but high quality). So instead of 2 stranded wires this has a solid copper wire in the middle then a spacer and stranded wire around the spacing. The solid copper is good because of less signal loss(that's why cable and satellite companies use it for long long runs)

The standard for this is [IMHO] is made by Canare, and is now very expensive. The construction is very similar as to components parts. The function is the same. The only difference I can see is probably "robustness" of materials. For the price difference between the two, I take the Monoprice.

When it's referred to as rated as 75ohm what exact measurement is this referring to - it can't be 75ohm fom one end to the other - or up and return?

BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question.
The 75 ohms would be a measurement of the resistance of the cable.
You would have a 75 ohm resistance across the entire cable.

Great cables
Great quality cables with very solid connections. I have used these cables for all of my pre-amp to amp connections and bought this for my new sub. Works wonderfully!

Feedback Loop Eliminated!
These cables were exactly what I needed. I was getting a bad feedback loop from my sub when connecting my sub amp. Tried everything and finally just replaced all of the cables with these and it's gone!

Shielding Works
I was getting RF interference that was caused by RCA cable connections between my pre-amp and amp picking up some interference. These cables fixed it. The shielding worked.
If you are getting a hum in your system, unplug your RCA cables from your amp. If it goes away, try plugging your cables back in but unplugged from the pre-amp. If you pick the hum back up, it's likely RF interference.

Cables are a bit stiff which make them harder to route. A couple of the terminations were lose and required tightening.
