This did not work in our application - computer driving two projectors.

It simply did not work! The goal was to take the computer vga output and split it between the current monitor and a vga cable to a vga-to-hdmi converter. But instead, the monitor went dead, and, while the HD TV displayed some version of the original computer display, all of the short cuts had been retiled, and the aspect ratio had changed (an inconvenience I could have lived with). But not having access to the monitor was a deal breaker = zero stars.

Great product

This worked well between my computer and a monitor and a projector. I used this as part of my Halloween decorations to project an image of trick or treaters outside, as well as display their image on a monitor in a window facing the door.

I know that VGA is so 20th century, but I find myself needing these more often that I had imagined. At this low price, I have one in each of my cable kits for when the need arises.
You need to test your monitors/projectors before you actually need these to work, as the reduced signal from a non-powered splitter can be a no-go for some monitors. I have one or two monitors that suffer from this condition, and I had to mark them as such before heading out to use the splitter.
Other than that, this is a great product for this purpose.

It is definitely a good product, however I did not read the description very carefully. It definitely simultaneously displays the same thing on the screen. I was looking for a product where I could move applications from one screen to another. Overall, this is a good product and works instantly!
