Does it come with spike plates (for wood floors etc.) ?
A shopper
on Apr 19, 2019
BEST ANSWER: No, it does not. But spike plates are easy enough to find online. I bought a nice brass set from Amazon for $7.99 and it serves the purpose well. If you plan to add more shelves to the base shelf, there’s no need to buy more spike plates as the spike head has a depression on it where additional spike feet go in.
I hope this helps.

BEST ANSWER: I think so. I bought 2 of these to double up the shelf to make a turntable platform which sits on top of a regular 4 shelf (also made from 2 units with the shelves doubled up). The only problem I had was needing longer threaded connector rods due to the thicker shelves but I found these on Amazon., I think they were M8x80mm The other change was to insert elastomer bumpers at the bottom of the tube support for the turntable shelf to isolate this from the rest of the rack.

Can anyone tell me the width between the posts? I see 16.7", however, is that the width of the table or from post to post? I've got a center speaker that I can wider and taller than this. The height I can take care of, the width, which is 12" may be fine if the feet are more than 12" apart. Thanks!

Quickly measuring it, the width is about 12 3/4 from top post to top post (measuring from the outside of each post, not to their centers). and the length is roughly 20in between sides of the top posts.

More of a request than a question -- any chance you could expand this product offering? I wish there was a LARGER and somewhat MODULAR design. My Marantz Preamp/ Processor is about 18"W x 7-1/4"H x 18"D and the Yamaha Amp I use with it is about 17"W x 8-1/4"H x 19-3/16"D. Ideally I could use something like this to elevate one above the above so that I had more room for a turntable on the top of my AV console. There would need to be at least an inch or two of clearance so that sufficient air flow is provided.

I've submitted similar feedback on these stands. For my tall amp I bought this stand along with the 4 tier audio stand. I took the longest posts from the audio stand and the shortest posts and connected them with a set of the screws that came with the units. This gave me a shelf with plenty of clearance for my amp but now I'm unable to acquire more hardware to connect the shelf that got left over. We really should be able to buy extra hardware, IMO.

How tall are screws on the spikes?
A shopper
on Dec 21, 2021
BEST ANSWER: Not very tall. There are notches cut in the screws so you can't vary the length. I ended up spending $5-7 at Home Depot and made my own pseudo spikes using the screws instead of provided feet or pads and getting some washers to keep the bottom shelf stable. The stands are very robust and are well worth the money...I own 2 and would consider buying a third to customize and go from 3 to 4 or 5 shelves....

Exactly what I needed
That was not certain when I made the purchase. I just assumed I'd be able to configure it for my needs. That is because the legs are a tad too tall for my conditions -- I was putting a new component into my audio system, and and move others around to make it work. The only way it could is if my bass amp was to be on the floor underneath the chest of drawers I have reconfigured to hold my system. There are legs, and thus, there was space, but not enough for this stand together with ITS legs! I also didn't want the amp on the floor! So I put it together in a way that has the tops and bottoms in the corner holes, but no legs, and it is perfect! I am not using spikes, so I can pull the stand/platform out from under the shelves above it, and it is on a really solid surface and not on the floor. Perfect -- very happy!

Perfect for a Modern Entertainment System
Stand is low and can be stacked in different configurations. They allowed for me to keep my 85" LCD at eye level and still have my center channel speaker elevated. If you have a 4K surround receiver, this is a must for ventilation.

Sturdy, easy to assemble, looks nice
Very easy to assemble, sturdy, spikes are easily adjustable to uneven floor . Stand holds 60 lbs amp. This is my second stand and $$$ is also good + free S&H. BTW $10 less compare to Amazon. Super fast delivery to IL by FedEx. Recommended.

Great stand
This is the one that's slightly lighter weight and it's perfect for my 50 pound Yamaha M2 power amp.
Really well made and at a surprisingly low price.

Does the job and looks nice doing it!
I bought this to support my vintage receiver I wanted to hook up but would not fit in my existing rack. I had a choice:
Go to Home Depot and get a piece of wood about 1 inch thick in the size I need for about $26 or get a real amp stand like this one for the same price out the door.
This is just like the ones one can get from Pangea or Salamander or what have you, but at a fraction of the cost. In fact, it is the same and goes together the same way as they all do.
Easy to store when not in use too.
I would recommend this product.

Pleased with Amp Stand
Pleased with amp stand and plenty sturdy. Fender 68 deluxe reissue fits perfect. Not crazy about the needle point feet and I mean sharp as a needle. Not sure of the purpose, but will absolutely destroy any hardwood, laminate or linoleum flooring. I have mine in my music cave downstairs on concrete flooring.

Very good quality.
Worked as an add on shelf to existing rack.
