BEST ANSWER: It does not. You'll want a USB-C to USB-C cable to get the most power from this.

Will the 27W USB-C charge faster than Qualcomm's Quick Charge 3.0 standard?
A shopper
on Aug 8, 2018
BEST ANSWER: These are 2 different technologies. This charger supports the Power Delivery (PD) standard which is used by most USB-C devices. Samsung's Galaxy phones however, uses Qualcomm's Quick Charge (QC) technology. I have the Aukey multi port USB charger with Quick Charge 3.0. When plugging in A Galaxy Phone, it says rapidly charging but plugging in a Pixel 2 (PD) doesn't say rapid charging. I haven't timed it myself so I can't answer which is faster. Also plugging in a Monoprice Power Bank to this charger works perfectly, however, plugging in the same power bank to a QC charger doesn't charge the Power Bank at all. If your device supports uses QC by Qualcomm, I suggest getting a charger that is certified for Quick Charge. If your device is USB-C and doesn't say QC, most likely it uses the open PD standard, this charger will work just fine.

Insufficient information to answer that question. For Huawei, I can say No.
It totally depends on the device & the charging technology it utilizes.
I have like 6 car chargers now. The only one that works full speed on my P20 Pro is the last one I bought which supports Huawei SuperCharge with a 5A USB-C cable.
Watts is equal to amps multiplied by volts. So,
27W @ 12V = 2.25A
27W @ 5V = 5.4A

According to the "Full Specs" listing, this provides "USB Type-A Output5V/1A total", so the answer is neither - it only supplies 1 amp to the USB-A port, which is quite disappointing.

Very good for the most part
Charges very fast in the 27W USB C port. Only potential complaint is it periodically discontinues charging. However, I'm not certain if it is a problem with the charger, the cord (which is brand new), or possibly (most likely) my phone. I have not attempted to charge any other devices with this port. The 5W USB port was able to charge an iPhone fairly quickly as well.

A let down
Connected to my Samsung S9 phone via a OrxnQ (C to C cable 3)cable. with the car running. I cannot bet a fast charge display on the phone.. I have tried several different cars with the same result.
I will live with the slow charge.
