These WILL NOT WORK with an Amazon Fire TV Stick 4k! These cabel hav a MALE CONNECTOR on each end. The Amazon Fire TV Stick 4kalso has a male connector, so therwe is NO way to plug one into the other. You will need an HDMI Extension cable which has a FEMALE CONNETOR onONE end and a male connection on the other, like the short, 3 or 4 inch cable provided with the Fire TV Stick. A good choice, if you need a longer extension than the one that comes with the Fire Stick (or Roku Stick) would be a "Monoprice DynamicView Ultra 8K High Speed HDMI Extension Cable" (https://www.monoprice.com/product?p_id=38642) which comes in 1, 1.5, and 3 feet.

Do these cables have what I assume is a noise suppression "barrel" like some other cables?

BEST ANSWER: No they don't have the "barrel" you speak of. these are high speed hdmi cables with short reach and excellent connection/conductivity. I haven't noticed any need for the ferrous suppressor.

What are the connector dimensions - the part you grip with your fingers, not the metal part that carries the signal?
I to find one 8.25mm or less, to fit through the slot in DVD Bracket #8101.

BEST ANSWER: these are 9.9mm by 17.2 but there is sufficient material to remove some down to 8mm IMO. the flat sides are bowed as to add thickness. if one was to shave off the crown it would be about 8 mm

BMPCC 4k rig

I use it to connect a 5" 4k monitor to a Blackmagic Pocket Cinema 4k camera. It is the right length and being slim makes it more manageable in the tight confines of the camera rig!

Great flexible cables.

Needed some thin cables for some tight conduit bends and these work great. Bought some longer ones a few years ago and they have been solid. Needed some shorter ones for a KVM switch setup on my desk and they are working well. They are very flexible and can make tight bends.

Perfect HDMI cable connection

Exactly what I needed. I had a short tight bend in order to connect TV to wall plate behind flush mount on wall. This small form factor and short length was a perfect fit. I purchased a 1' cable and a 2' cable.
