BEST ANSWER:Yes. You can put it in underground conduit. You should always be sure that your conduit is put together with the proper adhesive and elbows to prevent leaks and snags.

I wouldn't bury this cable. Even if in conduit, eventually water is going to find it's way in and when it does you'll want direct burial cable to buy you more time.
BEST ANSWER:We have had good luck using this cable for POE security cams. The longer the run the more voltage drops will occur, of course. It is never recommended to exceed 200'.

This is by far the best cables ever, they are strong, sturdy and they never fail. I've never had a single complaint from any of my customers when it comes to cable runs.
PROS: Everything is pro about this cable, the sheet, internal separator for the pairs, the actual pairs themselves are all of the best quality.
I have run miles of this wire. I have purchased, run and terminated in excess of 20 boxes of this PID2270 wire. Purchasing 4 more boxes of it today so I decided to give a review. The wire itself is pretty easy to work with. Quick to terminate and I have not experienced bad terminations during the process of terminating the cable or afterwards to any extent that I could blame the cable. The ONLY negative I can come up with for the cable itself is that it has no type of linear foot markings at all that I have found. I don't care if I have to subtract 127254 from 127404 to know there is only 150' left in the box. I need to know how much is left in the box. I currently have about 7 boxes of this cable laying around that I estimate have less than 100' left in them but have no way to tell (that I am aware of).
I What I do NOT like about the cable is the boxes and plastic box feeders. The box and feeders themselves are complete garbage. I do not think I have ever emptied one of these boxes and had the plastic feeder not be broken or ripped completely from the box by the end. A good number of the plastic feeders are broken upon delivery. The boxes themselves are also easily destroyed. If you have to get into the box more than a couple of times to untangle the wire (and you will, due to the broken feeders) the box will fall apart. If I knew for a fact that monoprice had a similar cable in a better box for a nearly comparable price I would opt for the better box. The box issue can be very annoying if you are trying to pull a long cable alone. With a partner near the feed it's not as much of a frustration until the box falls apart.
The cable itself I will give a 9.
The box, while easier than working with a spool most of the time, I can only give a 5. Better than no box, but not by much.
PROS: pricing
easy to work with the cable itself termination\Punch down
We've been buying the solid, riser-rated cable from Monoprice for years and it's always been great. Client requested in-wall rated so we purchased the stranded, in-wall rated stuff. Big mistake. Boxes are flimsy I had to tape them up to keep them from falling apart on the job site. The plastic cable feeders coming out of the box were all broken off. I punched down to a Monoprice CAT6 patch panel and had failures on 10 out of 30 terminations because the copper won't expose to the patch panel contacts during punch down. this cable caused me nothing but headaches. I would recommend something else.
Rewiring basement, great price and easy to work with. Quick shipping and event with the shipping cost and it's weight, the cost is still cheaper then what I can find locally.
PROS: Great Price, easy to work with
CONS: Box could be a bit more sturdy, but minor in the scheme of things
This is some quality cat6. I bought this with the hdmi over cat6 extenders and ran it to two tvs and two projectors. Works like a champ. You really can't beat the quality for the price.
