BEST ANSWER: Yes, this will screw onto any single gang ring or box. The part with the brush screws on first and then the cover plate screws down to the brush assembly. The screws sometimes can't be screwed in all the way on the cover because the screw holes on the brush assembly line up with the metal part of the ring or box.

BEST ANSWER: I did not swap out a position on my three gang plate with my brush plate but I believe the insert profile is the same so it should work.

The inserts are standard size. So you should be able to replace one with a brush wall insert or add it and buy a 4 gang wall plate.

No it cannot be replaced with the brush wall plate, it has to be a decoration insert.

BEST ANSWER: This is a two piece. The brush piece is installed first then the plate over that. Reusable -yes

Great price for something I need often.
If you have priced this type of item at the big box DIY stores, you see this is a great price. I recommend monoprice for all the plates, connectors, and cables you need.

Got the job done. I used it for wires to flow through. The bushing in the middle is pretty dense so that it holds the wires nicely - not a lot but something.

Works as expected
Using this to reduce multiple wall plates into one to and hide unused phone cables inside the wall in case we need them for something. No complaints.

Nice clean product.
But one star for the non customer service I received...
Ordered two of these along with a TV mount ,HDMI cables and other connectors . Hit the order button then realized I needed the other mounting brackets that these screw into . They are listed for $1.36 each. 1-Gang Low Voltage Mounting Bracket Product # 7013 ...
So I clicked on the chat pop up window and a rep came online . I explained I just put an order in and needed to add the two above items.
She said she would gladly add them on , so I expected she'd say that would be another $2.72 plus tax. She comes back online and shows it will be an additional $14.24 more ???
I question her and she said these don't qualify for the free shipping like the other items I bought did.
When I questioned her further on would they be shipped in the same box as the other items ? She came back with yes !
I thought this was out of line $11.32 to ship two small plastic pieces , but wait they were going to just toss them in on my order that was going to be shipped for free and charge me $11.32 ...
Talk about NOT stepping up and taking care of a customer.
I replied back take them off my order, wound up buying them at a local box store for $1.42 each.
Through the years I've ordered abit of product from Monoprice and not sure if I'll continue to use them..
