In the pictures the white table top appears to have a wood grain finish, but the black table top does not. Can you confirm if the black table top has a wood grain finish or no grain at all?

I love the Monoprice dual frame! I got it in April after I had to start working from home, and it works really well. I highly recommend it, and rest assured that you can find a top you like even if you buy it elsewhere.

It does not come with a tabletop; it is grayed out to show the approximate proportions of a tabletop you would add to it.. This item is sold as the frame and motors only. They have a few options you can add to your order, or you can attach your own bought elsewhere; we had one from Ikea that has worked out quite nicely.

It's there simply as a visualization to help you understand what it would look like/how a desktop would fit on it. It does not come with a desktop and I don't think the image depicts an actual desktop.

Can these be cut? I need the 4ft in a 25" depth. Can I run this through a table saw?

BEST ANSWER: Hi, it is possible since the desk has a solid core, but make sure you have the right tools and blade to work with the melamine top and composite wood core. Also, you would be exposing the particle board core which might not look as clean as the edges that come with the desk. Thanks for checking.

The top is laminated and has pre drilled holes. If you don’t care about messing with those attributes, then go for it.

BEST ANSWER: Hi, we do not have information about their mount points so it is unlikely that the drill holes will line up. These tops were designed to specifically fit the Monoprice sit-stand desk frames. But if you already have the frame and you just need the top, these tops could still work since they are made of engineered wood throughout (no paper or honeycomb cores) so you can drill your own holes and use your own mounting hardware. The minimum desktop height notes 23.6". Is that the lowest default height of the table if I was sitting? I'm concerned it might be a little too low.

But you don't have to use it that low, the desk can adjust to any height between 23.6 - 49.2" and you can save your own height presets to get a custom fit from the desks. We use sit-stand desks at the Monoprice head office and the saved presets are higher than the minimum possible to get the most comfortable sitting and standing heights for the individual users. BEST ANSWER: I can’t say for sure but many manufacturers have just started slapping these stickers on everything because it’s cheaper for them to do that to comply with CA law than it is to be fined or litigated against for not including one on a product they thought did not need one. I’m surprised raw fruit doesn’t need the stickers. I’m sure pesticide or herbacides contribute some minor amount of carcinogens that are cancerous.

BEST ANSWER: I emailed about this previously, it’s a laminate constructed desktop. They could not confirm if it’s high pressure laminate. I feel the construction is high quality for the price, so I suspect it is HPL.

We are using it as a surface for folding clothes. I mounted it as a shelf next to our washer and dryer machines.

Sit-Stand Height-Adjustable Desk
The table top is very sturdy and was very well packed. It has a light wood grain finish. However, the pre-drilled holes did not line up with the stand: Workstream by Monoprice Dual Motor Height Adjustable 3-Stage Electric Sit-Stand Desk Frame, v2, White

Built great and fits the motorized sit-stand desk nicely
I purchased this with the white motorized sit-stand desk. It is very well built, almost an inch thick, and has a very nice finish that cleans nicely with a wipe. In addition, it has pre-drilled holes that align perfectly to the mounting holes on the sit-stand desk. I am very happy with the quality and at $70 it was well worth it.
