I'm looking for a 25' run between a Denon receiver and an Espon LS 11000 projector. Between these two Monoprice HDMI cable options, is one better suited for that use (or has better performance)? I recognize a 25' run isn't ideal, but am looking for recommendations.

BEST ANSWER: I didn't do a comparison however I am pleased with the performance of the 4K Certified Premium High Speed HDMI Cable 25ft. I bought 3 of these to run from the TCL 65" 4K TV above the fireplace, inside the wall, under the basement floor, and up through the family room floor. One connects to the Comcast cable TV transmitter and one to the LG Blu-ray player. The third is a spare for the future. More than adequate for my needs.

I've had good luck with both active and passive Monoprice HDMI cables. I have a Denon receiver going to 3 TVs.
Two of the runs are 50' or more so I went with active cables for those and passive for the short run.
I think that you are fine with the cheaper passive cable for 25'. Definitely use active for longer runs.

I don’t think you need active for a 25’ run but I would recommend getting it just in case. I own this cable and it works great. If you’re going 1080p probably less important to get active but active would give some future proofing.

Are these rated for in wall applications? CL2/CL3?

BEST ANSWER: Yes, the short cables (≤15') would be CL2 rated but the longer cables would be CL3 rated.

I'm looking to use expandable PET sleeving to help identify my cables more easily. What are the dimensions of the cables' outer diameters, and the greatest outside width and height dimensions of plug / connector surround, that the sleeving would have to slip over? For instance, some such sleeving would best fit a cable at least 1/4" in diameter, and is able to expand to slip over a connector that is up to 3/4" in diameter (or approximate equivalent total length as circumference). Can anybody confirm the the 25ft cable passes Ps4 Pro HDR signal through their receiver? Having an issue with my Denon receiver. They say it could be length of cable, but these are certified and it works perfectly when plugged directly into PS4 Pro->TV.

A high quality 25 foot hdmi cable
I needed a long cable for a projector, I ran this thru drop ceiling to my av rack across the room works great super high quality!

Broken cable - no help from Monoprice
Didn?t work at all. Must have been damaged but Monoprice wouldn?t help because it was past the 30 day return policy.

Works great
This 25' cable contains 24awg wire. Some reviewers rated it lower due to cable thickness and limited flexibility, but I did not have any trouble routing it through outlet boxes and 1" flexible conduit embedded in the walls. I was able to gradually bend it about as tight as a 2" radius. I have an Epson 3200 4K projector connected to a Pioneer Elite VSX LX-505 video receiver. I have only tested using online 4K videos from a PC, but the picture is very sharp. Overall, I am very happy with the cable.

Quality Cable at great price
Cable is very well made and works well with my 4K TV. eARC functionalty through cable controls the on/off and volume control of the AVR using the TV remote. Highly Recommended.
