All I can say for certain, is that it does work for 120V. I have two in service. After that, I've taken a look at a spare I have here (read the manual and taken the cover off to have a look at the mainboard) and there are *no* clear references to 240V aside from the manual. Sorry, I realize that likely doesn't answer your real question "Does 240V actually work?"

Both! Amp will run at 120v but can be powered at the higher voltage for use in Europe.

Monoprice Commercial Audio 60W 3ch 100/70V Mixer Amp (No Logo)

Monoprice Commercial Audio Desktop Conferencing and Paging Microphone with On/Off Button (NO LOGO)
BEST ANSWER: Three problems. 1. Microphone requires power either from AA batteries in base which last about 8hrs or from mixer 48v phantom via XLR. Not included with this amp. 2. Although microphone has adapter to 1/4" wiring has unknown compatibility. 3. Output level of microphone is low and may not be enough for amp.

You would need a 1/4" male to XLR Female cable such as Monoprice ID 4768.
The microphone would require the two AAA batteries, since this mixer/amp does not provide phantom power.

It comes with a adapter from XLR to 1/4 phono that will plug into the mic input, but you will need to power the microphone with a battery.

You would need 2 additional items. The first would be a phantom power supply and then an xlr to ts cable.

Will the 2 RCA inputs combine to a single output? I want to use a PC as the audio source and would use this along with 9768 cable, in the past I recall having to build a small circuit to avoid damaging the audio source device when combining 2 channels of audio to create a mono input to a 70v system. If the amp will not do this do you have this "mixing" network?

BEST ANSWER: The Dual RCA input does sum to mono internally.

Yes, the 2 inputs are combined internally for the mono outputs and controlled by the one volume knob "AUX2". You will not need a separate "mixing network" to accomplish this as the internal mixer handles it for you. I have used this amplifier in a church for the foyer and hallway speakers and it performed quite nicely!

I'm looking for 6 speakers and a mixer for a new retail store. I'm debating between these speakers and product 24213. Will these be easier to install? Also would product 18800 be fine to use with these speakers as a mixer or should I go to 14886? Total square footage of the space is about 1800. This will just be for some basic background music while customers are shopping. Thanks.

BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question.
Since you would likely never need the speakers to output more than 10W of power either one of the speakers you had posted would be fine for the application you described and would be installed in almost the exact same manner.
As for the mixer which one you choose would be determined by how many speakers you plan on using.
If you need 5 or less speakers #18800 would be a good choice any more then that and I would opt for #14886.

Can you plug audio into Mic 1, for example audio out of a radio using 2.5mm to 1/4 cable. OR would that not work. Does it have to be a microphone?

BEST ANSWER: It technically will work. It is a Mic Level input which may distort the sound if a line level signal is plugged in to it. It will not hurt anything it just may not sound good. If your source has its own volume control you will need adjust it to a level that matches the input of MIC 1.

what is the best way for sound quality purposes to connect a pair of regular 8 ohm speaker? I'm confused between connecting both positive and negative cables to the same speaker post and also the difference between using the 70volt or 100 volt connection.
