Are these sold in Pairs?
If so, can I also just buy 1 (for sub-woofer)?

Hi,
These are NOT sold in pairs. I bought one of these and worked very well for my SVS sub. My only suggestion is try to buy a longer cable. When I was trying to find the right placement of all my speakers and the sub in my living room, I wish I had a longer cable for the sub !
Thanks

No. They at sold singly. For a pair, you have to buy 2 quantity at checkout. Just order 1 quantity for a single cable.

These are single cables. To use as a pair, buy two and mark at least one with colored tape at both ends.

Where is the 9feet or 12 feet length?3 feet or 6 feet barely makes it from AVR to subwoofer

BEST ANSWER: I think these are intended primarily for use between a preamp and amp which is what I'm using them for. However, I agree with you and would like to see the longer version as well. The cables are well made and are sonically excellent so I would also like to use them for my subwoofer instead of the lower end cable I had to use.

These were purchased as a pair for connecting a turntable to a receiver. I purchased the Onix Series Digital Coaxial Audio/Video RCA Subwoofer CL2 Rated Cable, RG-6/U 75-ohm 15ft,Black for the subwoofer. You are certainly correct that 6 feet is a bit short for a subwooder.

Hello,
I believe the cord you are looking at was more intended for pre amp to amp connection. Look at Monoprice Onix Series Digital Coaxial Audio/Video RCA Subwoofer CL2 Rated Cable.

Yes. Connect the output from your phono/turntable to an appropriate input on your HTP-1. You will of course need two of the cables.

can this cable be used for a powered subwoofer ?
A shopper

BEST ANSWER: Absolutely. Mine connects a JL Audio e110 powered subwoofer to our Yamaha RX-A760 home theater receiver, seamlessly. Nothing comes close to matching the quality of monoprice cables for the money so why pay more. They're all I ever use.

what is the capacitance of the cable per foot and also are the connectors a true 75 ohms?
pat
on Sep 12, 2017
BEST ANSWER: With the impedance is determined by the distance between the center conductor and the OD of the dielectric material, the large center pin of RCA would require the dielectric OD need to be much larger than the space available inside the RCA connector for a true 75 ohm connector. Overall the 75 ohm impedance is typically for video, and not relevant for an audio cable, which is what this cable is designed for.
For capacitance, unfortunately that is not a specification we will be able to provide.

Would these work hooking up a Yamaha 3030 to that beast of a amp monolith 7 . Would they handle it or just melt lol. I would need 8 of them for hook up and 2 more for the subs . 10 in total . Are they worth it ?

Would this Monolith cable work better or would this RG6/U 75ohm (https://www.monoprice.com/product?p_id=2682) work better for a Subwoofer? Just in terms of sound/suitability, assuming price isn't a factor.

For the Monolith 7x, will be better if I use 3-Pin XLR Male To RCA Male Unbalanced Interconnect Cables instead of the regular RCA male to male cables ? Short distance, less than 2 feet. Or they will make no differences ? I will use a Denon avrx 4300h as a pre Amp

I'm searching for RCA cables that prohibit hum from vintage Dual turntables. One life-long (80 years!) tech expert tells me the best shielded cables are only grounded at one end.
Is that true for this cable?

Great quality at a great price
The plugs fit nice and snug on the input knobs, but not too tight. Just right IMO. The sound quality seems good to me and they feel very substantial.

Best bang for the buck. Very high quality.
High quality shielded cable for a fraction of the price of some alternatives. Note that these are sold individually, I only needed one for a LFE input to a sub but the quality is impressive and I cannot tell the difference from it and a couple of other cables I have that are orders of magnitude more expensive.

A Good Buy
Replaced basic RCA cables connecting Denon AVR-X4700 pre-out to Starke Sound AD4.320. Added depth and refinement of sound. Eliminated humming.

All the comments I read said that they were stiff I did not find that. Made real good yes and fit real close yes. Would I recommend them. I have not found the sound to be any different, just long term to prevent interference from other problems, life long replacement. I was using Monoprice three dollar cables and they were great. I just went through an upgrade so I upgraded cables also. Great, sturdy, very appealing and fit good and snug will not fallout if moved around.

great quality cable/good value
My current system is not at a high level at the moment and I can therefore not make any definitive conclusions about the SQ (sound quality). The cable is very well constructed. My only negative comment is that they are sold as single cables. While it never states that they are sold in pairs, the picture shows 2 connectors which seems to imply that you are buying a pair.
