How high is the rack?

BEST ANSWER: For height, multiply the rack units (U) by 1.75 inches. If you configure at 8u it's 8x1.75 or 14 inches. 22u is 38.5 and 14u is 24.5

It is adaptable, allowing you to put it in one of three configurations. 8U, 14U, or 22U. So as "high" as you want it.

depending on how you build it. It can be 8U, 14U, or 22U. A"U" is 1.75 inches

Is the depth adjustable or is it fixed at 18.5"?

BEST ANSWER: There are holes that every thing mounts up to so it is fixed, however, we needed ours shorter so we chopped it down with a bandsaw and drilled new holes. Worked very well, and will definitely do again when needed.

What are the actual dimensions? One place says 18.5" deep, another place says 12" deep,

The information given to us by Tripp Lite this item would be 18.5" deep.
I'm not entirely sure what the 12" is referring to in the "Additional Info" section.

Great price and value

Took a bit of a leap purchasing these, saw mixed reviews on their sturdiness. Turns out after i screwed these suckers into 2 studs in 4 spots they are solid as a rock. I recommend drilling your own holes as the ones that are pre punched/drilled are quite large and you would need washers or something to screw it into a wall/stud securely.
