Do the ends come off for a "slim-run"? The connectors are too large to fit through small conduit.

BEST ANSWER: Hi, Thank you for reaching out to us. Unfortunately, these cables do not have removable connectors. These cables are part of the Slim-Run branded line of Optical Hybrid cabling solutions. Slim-Run cables are much slimmer and manageable than many other cabling solutions that offer the same or similar performance levels. Overall the with the technology available, we are yet unable to offer a solution with removable connectors at a reasonable price at this time. Thank you kindly for reaching out to us.

I want to put my ps4 in a theater closet and was looking to run a USB cable through the ceiling to power the controllers from where the TV is.
would this power and allow them to directly connect the cable to PS4 60 feet away? I saw some of the questions below on power related but wasn't sure if this would impact my needs -

BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question. This cable would have no issues getting your PS4 controllers connected/charged over the long run. The cable will use fiber optics to ensure a fast and reliable signal over the run.

Can this be used to extend Kinect connection to Xbox One S?

BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question. With the use of the Kinect Adapter for the Xbox One S, it should be able to work to extend the signal. I would recommend reaching out to Microsoft regarding the use of a USB extender with the Kinect and Kinect Adapter.
We do offer a 30 day return policy, should you purchase it and it not work you can return it.

Is this cable in-wall safe?
New User U
on Jan 31, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question.
While you would be able to put this cable through the wall it is not in wall rated so it would likely not be legal to put it through the wall in your area.

Hello,
We are producing a device that needs to work in high-magnetic field MRI scanners, which are extremely susceptible to magnetizable components, as well as electrical and RF noise.
To connect our device (in MRI bore) to our processing unit (in a separate MRI control room) we intend to use fiberoptic media, using USB 3.0.
Local power can be supplied to each USB local end.
Do or can you make such an FO cable?

Surprisingly durable with very good signal quality
I purchased this cable 6 months ago for the sake of running an HTC Vive in a room seperate from where I have my desktop PC. I had to run it across the hallway with just a cover over it, and run a chair across that spot usually once a week. There is zero latency in VR and everything seems to work great.
