Monolith Air Motion Cinema Center Channel Speaker (Each)
The Monolith Air Motion Cinema Series brings the movie theater experience home! Each speaker is outfitted with an AMT (Air Motion Tweeter) to ensure accurate and nearly distortion free reproduction of high frequency information. The center channel utilizes a 3 way design to ensure dialog intelligibility at all seats, and utilizes the same drivers as the Air Motion bookshelf speaker for near perfect timbre matching. All speakers are fitted with magnetic grilles, with internally braced cabinets for minimum cabinet resonance and acoustic coloring. Engineered for accuracy, dynamics, and detail, the Air Motion Cinema series sounds great for both movies and music, especially when paired with a Monolith series power amplifier.
Air Motion Cinema Center Channel
Air Motion Tweeter: The Air Motion Tweeter is similar in design to a ribbon tweeter, but utilizes pleats to create more surface area and thereby move more air than conventional designs. They feature a nearly flat frequency response to 25Khz with almost no distortion, resulting in sonic excellence for your home audio system. The AMT is theoretically an almost perfect transducer system.
5.25" Woofer: The woofer cone is constructed using New Zealand pulp paper, which features longer fibers than ordinary wood pulp. This allows for a speaker cone that is lighter and more rigid than cones made from ordinary paper to produce clear and accurate mids and tight, focused bass. The surrounding woofer basket is constructed of SLC (super low carbon) certified steel, a copper distortion ring, and vented pole pieces.
3-Way Design: The Air Motion center channel utilizes a three way design to maximize dialog intelligibility and prevent acoustic phase cancellation for off axis seats. This speaker features an additional 3” mid-range driver that’s made from the same New Zealand pulp paper as the 5.25” woofers.
Rigid Cabinet: Rather than using conventional medium-density fiberboard, the speaker cabinets are made from high-density fiberboard, which is formed at a pressure of 720 psi, almost twice that of conventional MDF. Additionally, the cabinet features extensive internal bracing to produce the highest possible rigidity and reduce to a minimum cabinet resonance and acoustic coloring.
The passive crossover circuit is one of the most important elements in speaker design. It ensures that audio frequencies are directed to the speaker driver that is best suited to that particular frequency range. This 3-way center channel speaker utilizes a second order Linkwitz-Riley crossover for the tweeter, a second order bandpass crossover for the mid-range, and a first order Butterworth crossover for the woofer to ensure dynamic sound, proper voicing, and sonic accuracy.

Product # 2801
Do these clips fit this speaker?
These Monolith's with the AMT tweeters maintained the smooth response and added detail. I now have a high-resolution system that pleases me whenever I turn it on.
These Monolith speakers were a great upgrade--and a tremendous value.
Unexpectedly heavy, and incredibly well made, I'm very satisfied with these upgrades, and would be very surprised if others weren't as well.
