Cable was of the perfect length. it was stiff and worked well at initial setup. But I needed to check a Cable on the receiver and rotated it to check the back. While there was enough Cable length to The end connector came off . Luckily I had the contractor setup a backup Cable that was not as rigid and that saved the day.
To the point...yes, it's what you need, what you're looking for to build up or enhance that home theater of yours. I use it for mine. Yes, it does full HD flawlessly as advertised! All other reviews are accurate and dead-on. I would buy this HDMI cord again. Worth the wait of shipping to get your HDMI cords in bulk from Monoprice as opposed to the price in your local retail stores. The HDMI cord is durable and great quality. I'll definitely buy more here again if/when needed.
There's nothing like a good quality product from Monoprice to make a job go right. I originally transmitted audio & video from one room to the other with a wireless transmitter and had nothing but grief. Finally I decided to do what I knew I should have done in the first place and bought and installed a good quality cable so I could hard wire my connections. Now everything works right and I can enjoy what I'm watching knowing it will be reliable for many years to come.
I must admit I was shocked when I got the 40' cable, I did not realize how thick it was. I read reviews where people complained about breaking connectors and now that I have it I can see why. The cable is a full 7/16" thick, that's just shy of a 1/2" thickness, and fairly ridged. You must support this cable to take the strain off whatever you plug it into. It's very heavy-duty and it works so I am generally happy with my purchase.
Love the HDMI cable. It's thick as any cable I've had. It works perfect. I would have purchased a 90 degree hdmi adapter had I known how thick it was. Though I wedged it into the TV and probably can't get it out again. Superb quality.
The cable has a very thick molding around it, but it wasn't too hard to work with. I did bend the connector a little trying to thread it through a pipe, but I would expect that from an HDMI connector. I've been happy with it so far.
