Have three 27" monitors now. Will be adding a fourth soon. Can I mount the three I have now on the quad mount or will it be too unbalanced?

BEST ANSWER: To mount 27 inch monitors side-by-side, the mounts (the parts that look like an X at the end of each of the 4 arms) are almost as far out from the center post as they can go. I'd place the 2 monitors on the bottom arm and mount the 3rd one on the upper arm. Then, for that 3rd monitor, just slide its mount back toward the center post instead of leaving it way out to the left or right. Think of mounting the 3 in more of a triangle shape. This should keep things stable for you. I've had four 27 inch monitors mounted on this for a month now and it's very stable.

You should be fine as long as you put two on the bottom and try to center one on the top (mounts will slide inward). I wouldn't recommend placing two on top and one on bottom or two on bottom and one to the far left or right.

For me with the 28” monitors that I use the stand will still stand with 3 monitors attached. It is very close to the tipping point so I wouldn’t use 3 monitors on it long term.

I think with three 27 inch monitors , maybe a little wobbly. But if I was you, I hook up the two now and hook the other one, when you get the fourth one later.

you could try but i would bet it will be unbalanced. you can load two of them on the same level and just keep the third one separate until you get the fourth

I feel that the base is sturdy enough to hold 3 - 27" monitors. You can even move it closest to the center to help with the weight distribution.

Can it really hold up to 30inch monitors?
I run 4x 27" monitors and most mounts cannot accommodate this size while still providing the same level of adjustment.

BEST ANSWER: Hi, this mount has been designed and tested to hold up to 30 inch monitors, so it will be able to handle 4 x 27" ones. Tilt and swivel adjustments won't be a problem, rotate and height adjustment range could be reduced as screens get bigger towards 30".

I need a monitor stand that goes higher for a two monitor setup. I saw this and it has the height I need but I am curious if its possible to remove the lower two monitor mount arms on this mount. Is that possible?

BEST ANSWER: Hi, yes this is possible. You can remove the monitor arms, or you can just slide them out of the way to hide them. Hope this helps.

How easy it to adjust the height of the monitors while they are attached? IE I'd like to use this for a sitting and standing desk set up.

BEST ANSWER: Hi, unfortunately this monitor mount is not designed for regular on the fly height adjustments, so although adjustments are easy enough to make during setup, it could get cumbersome if you intend to make regular height changes. The process involves reaching back between the monitors to loosen the center clamps, moving the monitors, and tightening the clamps once in position.

Easy to put together but the piece that holds the monitors snapped on me after I tightened it to much didnâ??t seem like I had put that much pressure so becareful when tightening that piece.

Very good stand!
This stand is very well made. It is a bit hard to get setup and adjusted, mostly because the monitors themselves are so heavy. I have 4 24" monitors on it, and it works very well.
Very many ways to adjust for angle, height, etc. etc.
I may buy a second one for my wife.

Works well, although fiddly
This functions a lot better than PID 5559, which I had purchased before returning because it didn't work anywhere as well as it should have. It also helps that I prefer free-standing mounts over desk mounts.
PROS: Handles four monitors in a 2x2 configuration really well (in my case, four identical 25" monitors). Free-standing while leaving usable desk space (the base is 7 mm high, but is also level, unlike other free-standing mounts I've had *cough* Ergotron *cough). If you need all of the fiddly adjustments, they're all there.
CONS: Still fiddly, as there are a *lot* of bolts that you end up tweaking, which makes having monitors aligned against each other difficult. The center mount is particularly difficult to get just right when you're aligning, as it's either too difficult to adjust or it slides down on its own.

Impressive product, sturdy and very functional
Great solution to clear up desk space while moving monitors to be a proper eye level when working with multiple monitors/computers. Super sturdy and adjustable to support any configuration. Will look best with the same monitor, but I am using one pair on the bottom and two older LCDs on the top that works out great.
PROS: Solid construction, nice looking and configurable for monitors of different sizes. Ability to tilt monitors for better viewing angle, if necessary. My main need was to move the monitor up to my eye level, since I am 6'6". Great improvement for my ergonomics at home. I was not able to find a two/three monitor product that would let me move the monitors up as high as this product. Originally thought I would only use two, but was able to move up my 24" LCD monitors to be 9.5" off the desk and still stack two on top of that.
CONS: None - however, to truly tighten these well, use your own tools.
