Are these Cables HDCP 2.2 compliant? I do not see anything listed about HDCP.

on Nov 28, 2016
BEST ANSWER: HDCP 2.2 is copy right protection and your devices have to be HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 2.2 compliant, not the cable. The latest tech devices should also be HDR compliant to enjoy the benefit of the latest 4k videos, blu rays, etc.. But short answer, these cables will work will all 4k devices that have all the latest features.

These are HDCP 2.2 and HDMI 2.0 capable. How do I know? Because I use them for playback of 4K movies in HDR on a UHD Blu Ray player and they work great. The latest HDMI standard is required for playback of this format of video.

At the price of these certified cables and for future proofing, I would say why not buy them to use with the Roku 2 and a future Roku 4K box. That way if you do upgrade in the future, you won't have to buy new cables.

Roku 2 is not a 4k streaming box so you could purchase the cheaper cables and be fine. The Roku 4 is 4K but not HDR. The latest Roku Ultra and Roku Premium + are 4k with HDR and you would need these types of cables.

This says it is High Speed. Does it have 18Gbps throughput? I want it to be able to connect the Caberet Series HDMI (#12961) and the Premium HDMI (#15428) cables for 1 run for 4k. The caberet would be in wall, and pops out of wall to connect directly to the display. The other would run from the Source to the wall outlet.

BEST ANSWER: Per my chat with customer support, this two piece insert wall plate 7332 will NOT support 4K. You will need a female to female pin connector keystone jack 6852 and the 2-hole wall plate 6727. Also, so that you don't void your home insurance, you will need two CL2 rated HDMI in-wall cables 3659 to connect from bottom plate to top plate. They don't say they are wall rated but I don't see an issue using them for short runs . Rodents are the only issue but would be the same for any cable unless it was braided metal sheath .
Shielding maybe an issue for frequencies but I've had no issues . This being a 6ft cable should not be an issues just avoid sharp breaks / angles in and out of the wall and or to short a cable having tension between units .

What material are the ends made from?
domingo r
on Feb 17, 2020
BEST ANSWER: Gold plated.
Honestly, I don't think the material matters since if it holds a certification...
I was skeptical too but believe me, this cable does the difference.
You can have a 4K/UHD Blu-Ray player and play some 4K/UHD content, but if you don't have the correct HDMI cables it will be like watching a Blu-Ray movie, believe me this lead me to buy it. The cable can handle HDR also, which is crucial during very dark scenes (your TV needs to be able to decode HDR content).
You cannot be wrong this cable, specially for the price.
Enjoy !
PS. Google the certification

Are these more or less flexible than the cable listed below? Hoping to find something that won't put as much strain on the TV's cable management system as the one below. Thanks!

The best HDMI cables I have found that I can buy in bulk as well as for personal use.
Excellent cables at great price. I send these to my DVR customers and have never had a complaint. I'll be back to buy again.

Great cable!
Great cable overall! It is a bit stiff, but that worked for me. I was able to bend it into a helpful shape and it stayed.

Works great!
Because my 2023 MacBook Pro has different ports than my 2016 MacBook Air, I needed a new cable to connect to my LG monitor. Works great!
