Some other notes are that these are well made and very durable as you would expect. The standard lid that comes on the bottles is of good quality as well. The 40 oz. model will most likely become my lounging around water bottle. I think it will be a bit large for me to carry around all day while working, as I would have to clip it onto my harness while climbing and inspecting course equipment. The 32 oz. if the same size as the "Hydro" brand, should be very reasonable for this.
The only slight thing I can say I've found that's not quite as good so far with the Pure brand is that the powder coating isn't done quite as well. I'm not saying it's bad, but there are just a few spots that have protruding flakes. I would most certainly recommend this bottle if you're looking for a good quality bottle at a reasonable price.
There is also something I like more about this bottle as opposed to the "Hydro" brand product. The brand logo is actually etched into the bottle on the Pure bottles. They are just stamped maybe printed on the "Hydro" products. The logo on my 40 oz. bottle is different then on the 18 oz. but both are nice.
PROS: Other Brand Lids Fit, Price / Performance Ratio, Quality, Logo Etching, Rugged
CONS: Minor Powder Coating Flaws
PROS: Works great w/ cold drinks. Not too wide. Great value vs Hydroflask.
CONS: None so far for the bottle itself. Would be nice if there were other bottle top options sold separately.
PROS: I think it is a great buy. I'm not going to waste my time comparing it with any other brands. It does what I wanted to use it for and seems very well built!
My optional suggestion: Make a coffee mug like this at 24 Oz. with hand grip. and drinking lid That's what I'd like, then I can use the one I have for cool drinks when out & about.
CONS: I couldn't get the dang thing to mow the lawn !!
PROS: High Quality. Solid. Can keep my water cold all day long while at work. Easy to clean.
The coating is durable and easy to grip and doesn't show scuffs or marks. Well worth the cash.
PROS: keeps cold
doesn't freeze your hands out
nice wide mouth
CONS: nothing as of yet
I've been using my new bottle with about 1/4 ice and the rest water. I go out and run errands in this heat and the water is still ice cold. I love this bottle.
I've use Yeti and Hydo Flask this bottle is just as good and is 1/2 the price.
PROS: Keep liquids cool even in the Phoenix heat.
Wide mouth for easy filling (especially ice from a machine).
CONS: This is more a "it would be nice" than a con - but with the wide mouth opening it would be nice to have a pour/splash guard. I tried the Nalgene splash guard but it doesn't fit.
