Can this mount (Product # 15264) be used for a 55inch TV?

BEST ANSWER: It might if you're willing to put extra holes into your drywall, maybe with anchors, since the width of the mount wasn't wide enough for me to drill into 2 studs for that extra support. Who knows, could just be the stud distance of my wall! The 37" inch I used this for is 7 years old so heavier than similar sized flat screens today and it's fine on a single stud. Hopefully that helps!

My 47" Vizio 3D TV (very heavy) has no problem on this mount so I think it would be fine for a 55" set. I have a 55" set in another room and that wall mount is not as sturdy as this one is.

Does your mounts come with hardware I need M4 screws for tv?

BEST ANSWER: Yes it comes with all hardware needed. Several sets of screws and sizes for different manufacturers. Also come with the large anchor bolts for the wall.

If i have a monoprice slim bracket already installed, will the holes in the wall match up and i can just remove previous bracket and install new bracket without drilling new holes? The previous bracket extends past the new widescreen TV, therefore i need a slimmer one but do not want to create more holes in wall..

BEST ANSWER: The mount will not reach the studs in the wall, you would only use one stud and would need to use toggle screws for the other side.

I am looking at using this mount in my RV for a 32" Samsung LED TV. I don't have thick studs to screw into but I have a solid sheet of plywood behind the entertainment center. I am limited on the length of the screws to 3/4" but I can use several. Has anyone used this mount with short screws directly in to plywood?

Considering that his was designed to be used in wooden studs it would not be recommended to use this mount int hat configuration.

Nice compact flush mount
Leveling and mounting of the mount is easy and quick. The only issue I had, and for me its significant, is the tilt mechanism. In my opinion its a design flaw. The hinge to create the tilt is "set" by 3 bolts that tighten it. Loosening the bolts allows the hinge to slide through a curved cutout in the hinge. The flaw is that when you try to tighten the hinge to a specific tilt, the metal will actually bend in. The more you tighten the more the hinge will tilt. This causes great difficulty when trying to hang the TV on the mount and tighten the security screws. I ended up having to make the bolts very loose and rely on the security screws for stability.

Good value and easy to mount.
A small compact mount. I have a 43" TV that only had 100 x 100 holes, so the bottom screws that lock the TV to the mount were hard to access.A very good, low cost mount.Thanks Monoprice

Good mount, feels solid, needs larger screws for some TVs
Would be a 5 star cause it's a solid and sturdy mount. Only reason I knocked off a star is because it didn't come with the screws that fit my 42 inch Samsung TV. The mount screws needed for my TV were M8 size and the largest that come with the mount appear to be M6. Not a huge deal, just required a trip to the hardware store for some screws.

Very good mount for the price
It's hard to believe this mount only costs $8. Very fast to install and seems like it would easily hole it's rated weight. Holds my 32 inch Vizio without any problems. Mounted it with 2 screws in the middle into one stud literally took 10 to install
