Good cheap Slim cables, Use them in my rack and they work perfectly. Glad they are 6A and are "futureproof"

I bought a 5-pack of these slim run cables in both 1 and 3-foot lengths and I love 'em! Small cables like these are easy to route, more cbles can be contained in a smaller "run," and they perform great. I have only two nits to pick - one, Monoprice sells these in 5-packs only, and I'd like to get singles or fewer than five and no can do, and two, the website shows a variety of colors but you can only buy blue cables ... so much for organizing by color. Other than these two nits, I love my slim run cables and recommend 'em.

Perfect solution for patching my router and other devices. Could not find short cables for this low price anywhere else.

My home was a mess of Cat5 to Cat6 cables that I have collected throughout the years. In an attempt to remedy some weirdness in my network, I decided to replace them all. No place better than Monoprice to get quality, inexpensive cables. I've ordered various lengths of these slimrun cat6A cables from 1ft to 14ft. These were super easy to bend around corners and work with when compared to standard CAT cables. That was a big plus for me when I was replacing all my old cables in and around my entertainment center, cabinet, etc. YMMV, but I have seen an increase of 20 MB/s for my network when I switched to these cables. Again, YMMV, but I was in need of some cleanup and updating of out dated cables.

PROS: -Easy to work with and get around tight spaces
-High quality
-Inexpensive
-Works well.


CONS: -Only comes in two colors
-Would be awesome if they had lengths of 1.5ft and 2ft. A lot happens in between 1ft and 3ft in my opinion.

Just the thing to jump from my router to the nearby switch / Time Capsule, or from the media room switch to the other A/V devices on the same shelf.

The only improvement I could think of would be a 5-pack with different colors.

Decided to try them on my home network. Didn't had much expectation for something with a thickness of a toothpick, but Oh boy, I was wrong, it looks clean and run like my old Cat6 cables.
Monoprice, kudos for you for coming with this product, you have a winner here.
