Monoprice Dual Monitor Free Standing Adjustable Desk Mount for Monitors 15~30in
Dell E2416HM 24" Widescreen LED Backlit LCD Monitor
BEST ANSWER: It should fit but we have not tested this exact setup. At the highest setting with a 24" screen, there should be around 9-10" of space below the monitor. Thanks.

I am using 2 Dell 21" monitors with this stand and with the arms at their highest setting, there is 11" of open space between desk surface and bottom of monitors. I believe the answer is no, a laptop could not be open and not obscure the screens. I have a 17" laptop and cannot work with it open.

The center of the arm can be 17" above the desk. Those Dell monitor have about 13" screen height and the wall mount looks to be centered vertically. So 17-6.5" would give you 11.5" of space below. Or the length of a piece of paper below. So yes at this high point you could do it. IMO

How high can you raise the monitors? So what is the distance from the center of the VESA mounting bracket and the top of the desk.

BEST ANSWER: We have ours lifted to the top and I just measured 16" from desk to (ballpark) center of VESA. We have dual 27" monitors mounted - so about 23" from desk top to top of monitors. Hope this helps.

You would max out the height of this stand with the center of the VESA bracket at about 16.5 inches over the desk. I've found it to be very adjustable!

It's not adjustable. You can't raise it at all. I was disappointed that it's not adjustable. I had to use a piece of furniture to prop it up.

Nope. But thanks for responding. I have a fused Neck so I have to have my monitors up high so I can look them straight on. So I needed to know the distance between the center of the VESA mount point and the table. Looks like it is 16.5". Need to measure what I am using today and compare it to 16.5"

Does this unit come with screws?

Yes, this unit comes with all the screws you will need, both hex head screws and thumb-knob screws. It is very easy to assemble. Took me about 30 minutes to put together and hang 2 29: monitors. Love it.

I have 2 x 30" 4K monitors (16lbs each). They measure 29" from side to side (14.5" side to center). One user reported that the arms are 16" long. In theory, this should support those monitors.

BEST ANSWER: Hi, sounds like a promising project but unfortunately we have not tested this product in a similar application so we don't have recommendations. You might want to explore the downloadable user manual, the link is under the Full Specs tab, to see how the parts connect. the monitor arms themselves attach to the 35mm pole, that might be a good starting point if there are adapters or shims available. Thanks.

Monoprice Dual Monitor Free Standing Adjustable Desk Mount for Monitors 15~30in
Workstream by Monoprice Laptop Holder Attachment for LCD Desk Mounts
BEST ANSWER: Hi, this could work but it might not be an ideal setup since detaching the laptop could upset the balance, especially if your monitor is attached closer to the edge of the mount. A mount that is clamped or attached would probably be more secure for use with a laptop and a monitor. Thanks for checking.

Is the height of the monitor arms adjustable? I have roughly 19" between my countertop and the cabinets above and want to make sure that I can set the arm height low enough to not interfere with the cabinet above once the monitor is attached.

BEST ANSWER: Hi, at full extension, the center of the VESA mount would be around 15" from the center of the mount. Your monitors would fit and should be OK if you have them close to 180 degrees. But your adjustment options for angling the monitors inwards could be limited. If you need the arm length for extra adjustment, you could consider getting the triple monitor mount, PID 13816, to get the longer arms and just use the two outer arms. Hope this helps.

Great dual monitor stand.
This is my 2nd such monitor stand from Monoprice, and it is actually an improvement over the original one I purchased 2 years ago! It's solid and easy to install.

Great option for those who can't edge-mount
I have a bevel-edged desk so free-standing was the only option for me. It was more expensive than I had wanted to spend initially but after just 2 days I no longer had any doubt it was worth every cent. Seamless vertical rotation allows for me to speed through tasks I had to struggle through before.

Worked Great With Some Adjustment
Mounted 2 Dell monitors. They were sell within the limit for weight.. The instructions could use some change. The end pieces must be taken off to insert the mounting plates into the arms. the mounting plates for ease of installation should be test fit to the monitors so to make sure you have the spacing correct to allow mounting the monitors onto the bracket once you've placed it into the arm channel. The Drawing in step 3 shows the bracket with the solid mounting plate located on top. For ease of mounting I placed the slotted part of the plate at the top. The Lock Collar mechanism is weak. It is easy to misalign the threads and the weight of two monitors allows it to slide down the pole. I found I needed to add painters tape around the pole in line with the locking collar to keep the arms at the height I wanted. Locking collar no matter how hard I tried would not engage its threads uniformly, they are just to wide apart to prevent binding as the collar twist out of alignment as you tighten it. Other than this it works great.

Recommend if you won't need to change monitor height
Does the job. I'm impressed with the balance. Maybe I assembled it wrong, but I'm not able to raise or lower the monitors without getting out the hex wrench. Ideally I would adjust the height each time I switch from sitting to standing (the height that works for me while sitting is a little too low when standing), but instead I had to find a compromise height that works decently.
Other adjustments (tilt, etc) are easy to use.

I ordered two of these, one works flawlessly. The other, we can't get the monitors to stay at the specified height, they just keep sliding down the pole. I instructed the other user to not touch the monitors so they don't slip down.

Too expensive for the quality
Would not recommend this product. The adjustability of this arm is very difficult. Even after tightening up the bolts it is still pretty flimsy. Very bulky and heavy but oddly enough not the sturdiest design. I use to 24 inch widescreen monitors.
