I purchased the 20ft version of this and I feel it is having issues with HDR. The picture goes off for two or three seconds and then the picture turns a pink color. Do you think that the 25ft version could also occur in the 20ft version?

BEST ANSWER: 20' should not be enough to cause timing or signal strength issues. While it's possible there is some sort of defect in the cable, that type of issue usually occurs due to processing problems somewhere along the chain. If your signal is going through a switch or a receiver between your source and your destination, I'd start the troubleshooting there.

Are you using this on a 4K tv? If not, that would be your problem. If you are, the issue may the length of your cable, and possibly a signal booster may be needed.

Yes I am using this HDMI from an AppleTV 4K to a JBL sound bar with 4K pass through to a Samsung UN60HU8550 TV with a short 18 gb HDMI cable into the DVI HDMI port. I have the HDR settings on the ATV and the TV. (My other inputs are MHL, STB and ARC).

Is the cable long enough or does it barely reach? Could be that your connections are not fully secured on either end.

This mono price is long enough but the 3 ft from the sound bar to the tv is fairly tight. I will check that.

BEST ANSWER: I think this is the best cable to get if you are using it for any Audio, video or gaming features as it is 4K quality

If you want something that long with those specs, you will need an active HDMI cable.

Cable was fine, did what it was supposed to do, a little larger diameter than I was expecting but it worked like it was supposed to. However, the miniDisplay to HDMI adapter I purchased with it was dead on arrival, it did not work. I bought this as a backup for my Belkin adapter which worked flawlessly, so that is what I am still using. Too much hassle to try to return a $5 cable/adapter. Live and learn.

The perfect cables for long ditances
These cables are are extremely well built and are great for long cables. I need a 40 foot run for the bedroom in my RV in addition to a 30 foot and a 20 foot cable. I had to rum through the the ceiling of the RV.

Fantastic cable. Thick and durable. Flexible enough to easily get it where I needed in the drop ceiling. Signal is perfect.

Thick cable but good for the price.
One thing I don't think the website properly advises you of is that this cable is THICK. Diameter of a penny or so, I'd say. Because of that it's rather heavy and not as flexible as I'd like, but it does carry a 4K picture extremely well, so I can't really complain much.

cable was so thick that the hdmi end pulled out of the plastic when trying to place the electronic
