I purchased the 100 ft LUXE Series CL3 Active High Speed HDMI cable and installed the cable in the walls of my home, running from master bedroom into the attic and then to the basement. The source is Comcast xFininty X1 which feeds the Monoprice Pro Series HDMI splitter. The 100 ft LUXE cable is one of the two HDMI cables plugged into the output jacks on the HDMI splitter. The other is a 35 foot RedMere active HDMI from Monoprice that runs into the living area.

Both display's run perfect 1080p with this setup. I do not see any blocking or tiling (common with throughput issues on passive HDMI cables or bandwidth issues with the service provider). I do not have 4K displays so I cannot say if these cables would carry 4K images without issues... but the specs say they will.

The ends of HDMI cables can be fragile and should be protected when pulling though walls. The LUXE cable came with heavy duty plastic protectors on both ends, which I secured with electrical tape prior to installation. The braided jacket offers a layer of protection ideal for feeding the cable though the holes in joists and behind walls. In the end, this cable is perfect for in wall installation. I would not hesitate to buy more LUXE HDMI cables.

I've got about a 100 foot run from my A/V closet to one of my TV's. My A/V closet includes an 8x8 HDMI Matrix switch which obviously allows me to route 8 inputs to 8 outputs. I've had mixed luck with various cables. For the past 6 months I've been living with the only cable that would partially work. When I say partially work I mean sometimes when I turn the TV on the TV would report No Signal. There was some EDID handshake issue and I would be forced to turn the TV off and wait a few seconds and then turn it on again. Sometimes I had to turn it on with a different video source.

HOWEVER - with this new cable I haven't had a single problem. It works perfectly and couldn't be happier. And for the record I tried other cables from Monoprice, including their Cabernet and other "premium" cables.

PROS: Works as expected over long runs.... it's the only one I've found that works 100 percent of the time with my HDMI Matrix switch.

The HDMI connection is also fairly thick - I had to pull a screw out of my source to it could fit in properly.

The 2 - 100 ft hdmi cables will not work returning for replacements. Maybe need amplified boosters which I thought the splitter was supplying

I have never purchased a monoprice cable I didn't love especially the price.

We bought this cable at work to run through the ceiling and connect two conference rooms. It works flawlessly and is very heavy duty! Be aware, you might need an HDMI elbow if your TV is hung close to the wall as this cord is a bit thick and inflexible.

PROS: 100 foot cable runs great through drop ceilings. Clear picture, fire proof.

CONS: Limited flexibility for plugging into HDMI outlets that are on the BACK of a mounted TV.
