Perfect length for my needs, pretty beefy, securely connects to my pc and my external hard drives. Buy it If you need one. In my experience Monoprice makes good quality cables, this one has been good so far too.

My fault, maybe, but I did not realize that a USB-B connector was different on a 3.0 cable than on a 2.0 cable. So be warned.

I love being able to buy cables in the length needed, so that the back of my desk isn't full of coils of extra cable.

I got these because my USB 3.0 EHD wouldn't run with a USB 2.0 cable. I'm still using a USB 2.0 port, so I don't know the fundamental problem. Thus far, I haven't had any problem but I'mholding off giving them five stars until I get my USB 3.0 port working.

Cables were delivered quickly, well packaged, low cost and were exactly what I needed. At that price I could afford to buy spares.

Ordered two of these - one has worked, and the other came DOA. The replacement seems to be working. I absolutely do not trust them since six other Monoprice USB 3.0 cables with the same "Made in China" labels on the bags have been total unmitigated junk. Wish I had never bought any of these. Other cables I have bought from here have been excellent, but NOT this Chinese junk.
