Great cable for speakers. A big reason I chose it was for the black outer jacket which hid better in my installation. I did find the outer sheath a little stiffer than I would prefer. Not a big issue but a little difficult to route if not secured in place. It kept wanting to bounce back to its coiled shape. A bit of patience or something to hold it in place for a time while it sets in its new position will do it. Otherwise was exactly what I was looking for.

Great item, used for a low voltage project which the wiring has an electrical rating. I wish it was a little more flexible, but it worked fine.

Wish Monoprice would make a flexible electrical wire for home and auto use.

Awesome speaker wire. I have it installed inside my patio cover and worked great. I like it that it's insulated.

Thin insulation and a tight, smooth outer jacket make this wire perfect for running along joists and inside walls. The conductors are made up of many fine strands, a sign of quality.

I agree with the people who have commented on how stiff the wire is . A little more flexibility would make it easier to handle. But when you strip the away the outer jacket, the wire pair inside is a lot more flexible. I guess the stiffness protects them from damage during runs. Take it off as soon it enters the wall box and you have a pair that's much easier to work with.

I purchased the Nimbus series in 16AWG and my end use is speaker wire. It was a great price for 100 foot spool. If you need speaker wire it's a no brainer, this should suit almost any application because it has red/black color coded inner jackets and a black outer jacket.
