This wire really is some GREAT wire. Yes it is more rigid but it is 12/4 wire. 4 wires with a jacket will always be stiffer than smaller gauge wire with only a pair which is what you would normally run. I decided to run this with /4 in case wire would ever have issues (since I ran in ceiling/wall), I would have a spare hopefully to use. This plenum/wall rated wire is a MUST for safety/rating. The only thing I truly was disappointed with was the spool. I received it with one side completely destroyed. It did not appear to be a shipping issue. It made spooling out a real chore. A flimsy thin cardboard spool for a heavy 12/4 wire is not what I expected at all. Other than that I love the wire. Highly recommend despite spool issues. Just ordered and received another spool of 100’ which I needed to complete install.

Very easy to work with. The spool falls apart very easily though.

Product as stated. Appears to be of great quality. Heavy Duty. Packages arrived without any issues. Would definitely buy again.

This is install cable. I say this because the outer jacket is so thin that you can visually see the twist in the cable.

I'm using it to make NL4 speaker cable. So I want the jacket to form the shape, not the copper.

PROS: Price.

CONS: Thin outer jacket. The jacket does not hold a nice round appearance. You can visually see the twist. I'm glad it's twisted I just want that to be hidden by a nice thick jacket.

You can feel the stiffness of the copper though the jacket, and easily tweak and bend it by hand.
