I have hardwired my tv, computer directly to the router. What helps is having Fios for internet service, and the Cat 7 connected directly to the Fios box and ran the Cat 7 up directly to my router. Good stuff, if you are thinking of hardwiring your house, these Cat 7 would be one step of ahead. Over time Cat 5a & Cat 6 will be out dated in 10 years.

Technically, yes, but these cables are not rated for weather. The boots are not waterproof.

The metal snagless connectors are the best part.
We were having problems with our small network that was made up of random cables of questionable quality that had accumulated over the years. I replaced all of the cables in our setup with these cables. They are sturdy, especially the ends. The metal snagless connectors are the best part.

No connection issues with gigabit speeds.
I use the 50ft cable to connect a router to the main switch. The cable looks well built.

Worry free
If you are crawling through your attic anyway might as well make it the best cable you can buy because who wants to do that again?

The Cat7 cable worked well. The speed is the reason that I ordered Cat7. The speed was faster than I expected. I would recommend to anyone.
