Is the output HDMI or Displayport? HDTV isn't a cable type and the pictures in the description show a Mini DP to DP where the pictures at the top show Mini DP to HDMI.

BEST ANSWER: Output is Displayport. The large end plugs into your monitor, projector etc. The small end connects to the displayport jack on your laptop or PC. It is NOT an HDMI cable which carries but video and audio. This cable only carries video.

yes, it should work to just one monitor. You may want to verify your device outputs on the resolutions they output and what the monitor can handle.

What's the difference between HDMI and HDTV?
New User U
on Apr 29, 2020
BEST ANSWER: HD (in HDTV) stands for High Definition. This is just a display technology that provides high quality picture / video. HDMI is an audio/video interface for transmitting uncompressed video and audio data.
HDMI is basically a type cable you plug into your High Definition (HD) TV to get video.

- New User U on Apr 29, 2020
Looking at the ports on the Surface Pro 4 it looks like it has mini display port on it. So this cable would work if you'd like to connect it to a TV or computer monitor that has HDMI port. This will only give you video though, not sound. Because this is mini display port to HDMI, as upposed to HDMI to HDMI cable which would give you video and sound. If you really want video and sound, I'd recommend using the mini display port to HDMI for video and then connecting a 3.5mm aux cable and connect that to your TV and the other end to your surface pro's headphone jack.

Nothing that i can see. It is an HDMI connection, so it appears it is just the term Monoprice used to describe what you would be connecting to in most cases. In mine, i was connecting to a monitor with HDMI input.

The product images show a cable with a miniDisplay Port and an HDMI head; the Monoprice Select Series marketing images show a cable with a miniDisplay Port head and a Display Port head.
So which does this product have: and HDMI head or a Display Port head?
My monitors only accepts an HDMI head; it will not accept a Display Port head. Can a staff member clarify exactly which head this product has before I buy 10 of them?

Hello do you have a cable that I can use, plug it iPhone and/or Android phone to use its own high speed Internet connection without using any Hotspot or WiFi and send the Internet to a wireless modem that I can connect with WiFi. I want to do that all because all cell phone companies have limited high speed Internet Hotspot offer. I want to avoid that forever. Thanks.?

Good cable
The HDMI end is a bit bulky, but it does the job.
If you're unsure which length to choose, go with the longer one.
