The cable fits well and the monitor runs at max resolution (2560x1440x60hz) with no discernable artifacts. The shorter length works well in my setup.

Needed to connect an older Mac (circa 2014) to an older Dell Monitor P2715Q over mini display port (I was using the full size display port input on the monitor for another computer).

Mice condition cables. Delivery faster than expected. These nice cables go between my 2011 iMac and two 2009 iMacs. TDM or Target Display Mode not working yet as expected. Should work says Google searches on Internet.

I bought this to replace the miniDVI to DVI cable that came with my Dell external monitor which I've had lots of trouble with connecting to my mac. My screen used to black out and flicker all the time and all that's gone with this cable. I think next time I would go for the 6ft cable since i underestimated how much length i need. 3ft is barely enough even though my laptop and screen are right next to each other. Thank you monoprice for offering good quality cables for an affordable price.

Works great, solved the ghosting issues I had with my last cable from amazon, and supports DP 1.2. No complaints at all.

I'm currently using this cable to connect my Intel NUCs, Microsoft Surface, and Macbook Pro to a few different monitors (1080p and 2160p) with Mini-DP inputs and it works exactly as you'd expect. Audio over the cable works great as well.

I have not tried 3d, 4K30, or 4K60 with this cable, nor Ethernet.

PROS: Small, easily fits into my backpack or leather laptop bag.
