I use these unbooted cables for some controllers that suggest not using booted cables due to the extra stress they out on the connectors on the boards. And I can see their point from some of the booted ones I have used. For my purposes and especially in the shorter lengths where you are not pulling the end through much (which these are) these are perfect and easy to disconnect as needed. Cant beat the price either.
