Product works as expected, no issues

I was able to connect an older Macbook to an older monitor so I could have a second monitor. It worked great.

This cable is only 6" long. Useless as a video cable. Off to best but to get a thunderbolt extension cable.

Pretty expensive for an adapter.

Had to reboot to get the discovery process to work. Just plugging the adapter in with the projector attached did not start the discovery process. My laptop will discover devices connected through the HDMI port but I wan unable to have the projector discovered on the Thunderbolt port. Only when rebooting the machine was the port able to recognize the projector and configure it. Do not know if this is normal or an artifact of the adapter, as i only have the one adapter to test.Works fine once connected.

Connected it and works fine with my LG TV and early 2011 Macbook Pro.

This product does exactly what it says it does. Simply plug it in and it works. I used it to make my Mac mini into a dual monitor setup, the other connection being HDMI.

Worked as advertised. I will be purchasing more of them.

I've never had trouble with an adapter from MonoPrice before, but although this one worked at home with my old VGA monitor, it completely failed to work with the Epson projector (VGA input) at the school in which I work. I ended up ordering an Apple branded adapter instead, which works perfectly.

This mini Display port to VGA adaptor works great on the HP and Lenovo I haven't tested with Apple yet. I now only purchased active devices because of issues i have had with non-active adaptors.
