I bought qty. (6) of these 1000' Cat5e cables from Monoprice when another supplier sent me stranded core instead of solid core (which is what thes are). These are made of pure copper and not that cheap Copper Clad Aluminum (CCA) stuff that you will see advertised at cheaper prices... These will also show you ft. markings and let you know on the cable exactly how much cable (in ft.) you have left to work with. I have not had any problems with the cable pulling from the boxes. Cables have a bit softer outer shroud, easier to tip, solid built-in cut string (where most don't), and simply the best Cat5e bulk cables i have ever used.

PROS: - bit softer outer shroud
- easy to tips cat5 (wire pairs don't tend to pull inwards when crimping tips on)
- solid cut string
- has remaining ft. stamped on cable so you can see how much you have left to pull out of the box
- no issues pulling from box

CONS: - none

The package arrived one day late but not due to Monoprice - UPS delay. Packaged well. The cable came out of the box with only one tangle towards the 800' mark. Quality product. I would buy and use again.

PROS: Well packaged in shipping. Easily dispensed out of the box.

CONS: None.
